  1. Good prices!! Got a lightweight stator cover with bearing support?

    392 cub setup

Not sure what you mean by stroker pistons but 392 Cub is stock stroke.
  3. That could cause issues. Make sure the arrow is lined on the case and the cable is right enough.
  4. I would have it re done 2-5 n down it you're drag racing only. You can take first gear off, cut one of the tits off the shift star, then you have n down. You'll have to have some gears cut to get rid of the m4-5.
  5. What your describing really doesn't have anything to so with the lockup. If the pressure plate is adjusted properly the lockup will not be turning with the clutch pulled. How hard did you push the bike? It may take a bit to get it broke loose, then should roll freely.
  6. There's a look at the 650 cc bike and bar. The orange chassis is for sale btw. $1200.
  7. He can turn those off, or at least put a bb in the line if they're drilled.
  8. What's the 60 ft? It can feel like it hooks hard but not have a good 60'.
  9. I had a few chassis that didn't have mounts for them. I'm sure weight loss can best be found somewhere else.
  10. C'mon windy, you know bigger carbs don't mean more fuel!! Less velocity, less fuel.
  11. I think it will turn into a rudder with a single bar on bottom. The length we run is about 80 to 100% of the wheelbase.
  12. Some people drill out the orifice on Lectrons to run alky. I'm sure Packard went over that. Those carbs are waaaayy to big to run gas on that motor. They are probably too big to run alky efficiently as well. It'll run, but be hard to tune, and probably like to bog.
  13. You can get by with running 1 on PTO side only on smaller motors.
  14. Are you sure they are 78 RO on 12" wheels?
  15. I agree 100%. It's a pita to have to specifically order wrist pin bearings when ordering pistons. Maybe Wiseco thinks they don't go bad (and maybe they DON'T often), but sometimes it's worth the extra $30 or so to know you have new bearings in there.
  16. I don't never see it happening but a lot of people seem to like the idea. I talked to some racers, and the ones that's wins does like the idea and the ones that ain't competitive wants a weight limit. I personally am on the fence.
  17. I started this, now I'm out too.
  18. What does everybody thing about weight limits.
  19. It's still a head gasket issue.
  20. I think a benefit of MSD would be that you can (I believe) set the timing for each side. On the bigger stroke motors, it's likely that the crank isn't 100% in phase. Other than that it's not much different than a programmable dyna. Just my thoughts. I've never ran MSD.
  21. Ha! Thanks anyway.
  22. I don't know. I can measure tomorrow.
  23. Are they having another race in 2014?
