    Thats not too bad for first time out and what you're working with weight and motor wise. Pretty sure that's not far off what I ran my first time out on a 421 Cub.

    Stock tranny is killing it I'm sure. And gearing is not optimal and those tires suck. My 700 Raptor wouldn't even hook up the Kendas I had.

    Just to fix any confusion these motors are $2000. $650 was a joke about the washers. I would throw these motors away before I would sell for a penny less than $2000.

    Well then banshee2626 is correct. Hell you should be able to almost take off in 3rd with 14/43! I was kinda implying that you were heavy without saying it. But that is not the case.

    It comes with tank, steering stem, tie rods, spindles, swingarm, and wheelie bar. It does not come with axle, brake setup, or wheels or thumb throttle that are in that pic.

    Too many variables to say he should be able to launch with that gear. He may have taller or more aggressive tires, he may weigh a lot more.
