Hmmm. Now you got me thinking about taking a banshee chassis and building a hull around it so it will float. Simple rudder control to the handlebars. The suspension could be kept active inside the hull. Some 12 paddle haulers should get you going pretty good. Glad to see you back around. Exhibit A did warm me up a bit .

Banchetta knows his shit dude. Come to think of it, I bolted on my 30's with the stock porting and I thought the bike ran better with the stock carbs even after lots of jetting effort. I had my cylinders ported shortly after that and I loved those carbs on that setup. Ran them for a while...I forgot my initial problems when I first started with them though...not major problems, it just didn't feel like an improvement.

Maybe with the fenders whacked off. Otherwise I estimate a terminal velocity of 123mph .

I would recommend the upside down method myself if you don't feel like splitting the cases and with it upside down, while it is draining, blow clean compressed air in to the crankcase to help dry it and drive the moisture out. Then I would give it a good flush with the premix fuel that you normally run and then drain and blow that out and then put it back together and have fun.

Jetted right, they make a very noticeable improvement in throttle response and topend and should work great with your setup.

It's a 421 cheetah (4mil). The 420 is a stock cylinder trinity big bore setup. Obviously the 4mil is going to run a little stronger, but the 400 runs strong too. I agree that the cpi's would probably be your best bet.

Hey RNBRAD, that sounds like one tricked out banshee in your sig. I especially like the "rope to spark plug kill switch"...I think I may have to perform that mod on mine.
