  1. What plug are you running? BR8 or 9 would be good. I would suggest running 110 for an extra margin of safety. Anything less than 110 octane is not "race gas" If the bike was shutter stalling on you, I think that was the problem.
  2. What octane fuel are you running, whats your static compression and how much timing advance are you at? Your description of how it would run sounds like you were experiencing pre-detenation. Pre-det will hammer your bearings harder than anything until it blows a hole in your piston...your bearing came apart before that happened. Severe pre-detonation under hard accelaration will feel like your starving for fuel as the bike stalls but you will feel some vibration or shake...thats called the "death rattle". I had a wrist pin bearing cage fail due to this but luckily I caught it on teardown before it came apart. It was a wiseco bearing also. I buy oem bearings now.
  3. This dude posts in the wanted section that he is looking for an axle. I posted that i had a lsr 2+2 that I would sell him for 200shipped. I wouldn't have even brought this up but then I run across this: limitied03 Mar 1 2005, 06:06 PM Post #103 I bought an axle from superdave yesterday, hell of a guy shipped it out before i even gave him the cash..i promised id send the money right away and he'd send my axle and its on its way should be here friday....great guy, sweet deal....id certainly deal with him again!! 4. The double wide pegs I got from you are sweet. Thanks. Someone should snatch up this other set that you have.
  5. Happy B-day Stan. A wireless router? What kind of bits did it come with? Their making all of the power tools rechargeable now huh? Oh, you mean a router for your computin' machine....never mind. My computer is on a roll around cart with 150' of interface cabling. How far can you roam?
  6. Thats not your problem bro. A torn gasket, even around that tube, is not the source of your coolant leak. Either the o-ring seal on that tube is bad or the waterpump seal is bad. Replace both unless the o-ring was just missing.
  7. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  8. So you got bumped out of your rut huh? Well congratulations. j/k Shit has a way of working out for the best as long as you don't go off the deep end and start smoking crack or something. Worst case scenario you get you a van down by the river. Seriously, you'll be happier in the long run. That shit was a blessing...thinking about getting married, are you crazy? Someone was looking out for you on that one bro. Stay away from dumb people who do stupid things and you will be fine. I bet you wind up making more money too.
  9. Slow down there Screamin' 96. Rise above it all and recognize. This place will never be like PS. Two totally different worlds, and thats good. You have a much better chance of making it more like bluetraxx because try as you may, the boobs are gonna come and if you hawk this place and shut em all down then you got bluetraxx. I feel that the report feature that lee mentioned should be brought to everyones attention because I myself never really thought to use it and probably alot of others with concerns about the quality of posts on this site also were not concidering the report option. I think I should be a mod too. If your concidering deleting a post, I request, as a premium member, that you forward the link to me for approval .
  10. Thanks. Haven't had it on the dyno and haven't been timed in 300' yet but I'll get some numbers this spring. It was ported by Dan Wade at Patriot Racing. Yeah, I run race gas.
  11. Mine's a 421 as well. 35pwk's 152 main, 45pilot, CEL needles all the way down. The pipes are power pro's. Dan definitely knows his shit from what I hear.
  12. What kind of carbs and pipes are you running?
  13. My old banshee and my current banshee I both bought new and both stock chains had clip type links.
  14. Sounds like an intermittent electrical problem maybe. While you are busy "putting gas directly into your cylinders", the faulty component cools and works again temporarily. Get a hold of another cdi and try that first... if your compression is good and putting gas in the cylinder does not work. Check all of your connections real good too. Take off the stator cover and make sure no wires are pinched.
  15. Someone needs to slap some sense into that dude. One tv monitor on a quad makes no sense. Three is absurd. Yet another example of the rap cultures negative influences.
  16. This begs the question. Wtf? Did you trade reeds for tires or what? Trade back. Lets hear it or your both a couple of shiesters.
  17. Brand new chromemoly swinger. Made by GRR. Never been on a bike. Bearings included. 275 shipped.
  18. I think your pretty cool, but we want less talk from you and more vids!
  19. I forgot, I take exception to Ice-T...dats my boy right der. Ill'n like a mega villan You must want a pine box to go chill in Bury you deep creep, no one will weep Cause the next night with your bitch I'll sleep Take it personal This jam is directed to all of those who expected for me to cold be rejected but now I'm highly respected now their ears are infected with dollar signs I've collected jealous punks I said it Take it personal Rollin' with the syndicate, my unstoppable battalion 38 solid gold my medallion gainin' velocity momentum and energy Ice capital T boy I got power I could go on. I'm scarred for life.
  20. See that just goes to show you how untalented that wigger really (no offense loco). Any white boy could of made it big like eminem as long as they were willing to swing from dr. dre's dick I could throw a rhyme together for you right quick but I won't. Eminem was EXPLOITED by dre in an effort to cross rap over into the mainstream for pure profit. Nothing I hate more than a "gangsta" white punk! Unfortunately that is the only contribution to society that rap has made. IMO.
  21. My 4mm is setup with 110mm rods and runs 573 blaster pistons which have a conciderably shorter deck hieght than the banshee pistons. Supposedly the shorter rod motor will rev a little quicker. IMO 4mm stroke is not enough to create a detrimental rod angle so differences in reliability would be marginal.
  22. Wrong. I can't even comprehend how you came up with that. Long rods are used to correct excessive rod angle that occurs when stroke is added. Excessive rod angle causes side loading on the piston which results in premature wear of the bore and skirt.
