  1. Take the lowering kit off when you ride the trails.
  2. Sounds like an air leak.Spray carb cleaner or brake dry around the cylinders &intake boots to see if it will idle down.If it will you got an air leak.I have found some of them leaking around the base gaskets.
  3. Could be the plug caps.do a plug check.
  4. Take off the brake line & use air to blow it out,but don't let it hit you in the hand.Leave one of the brake pads in the caliper so it will hit the brake pad.
  5. Tap it back in place, but not too far in, the slide will stick.Use jb weld or a loctite 609 to hold it in place.
  6. If the rods wre hitting the case. The rod bearings are shot!Tear it down & rebuild the crank. It's not worth blowing a new top end for nothing!

  9. No. It's easy to do.Buy barnett clutches and put a CR clutch perch on.It will be easier to pull also.
  10. Check the plugs and the jetting. The factory ignition will pull way out there.I never seen anyproblem pulling 10-11,000rpms at all! I would check out the ignition first before putting something else on.I have found the plug caps causing this also. You can run taylor wires in the coil, they have a steel core and will not break like carbon wires.
  11. You can heat it up a little with a torch.Sometimes that will help to free it up.
  12. Why is it crapping out on you?

  14. No .You can reuse it.
  15. Look on www.columbiacoatings.com and look at the candy colors. They have a variety of colors.I had mine done candy purple with flake in it.
  16. Tap the center and use a slide hammer.I've done this and work great.Sometimes you have to use heat from a torch.
  17. Wouldn't you have problems with the voltage regulator if you keep blowing headlight bulbs. The voltage regulator controls the voltage to the lighting system.I have seen the stator play dumb games like fire one time and then not.I have seen them ohm out correctly and not fire also. One thing I did try and it will work at times depending how bad the stator is.Heat the stator with a heat gun to see if it will fire then.Sometimes the heat will change the resistance in the stator causing it to fire.
  18. Make sure your brake caliper is not sticking on the pins it float on.
  19. When you install the new bearings.Freeze them for about an hour .It will make them a lot easier to install plus you won't bang them up as bad either.
  20. You will have to a wider band clamp, like from a car.You will have to cut the little tab off of the intake boot where the carbs fit in them.
  21. It bolts to the preasure plate, prevents the ball from welding to the clutch rod.
  22. I use the honda hp oil.I use to use atf,but after the motor work it wouldn't hold up as well.
  23. I don't rember how much it supose to have, but it does have a resistor in the cap.I have seen them go open and not fire.
  24. Did you take the 2 philip screws out of the case mounted behind the clutch basket?
  25. Call Phil at Crankworks and get the Max load bearing. It's a better bearing for the pto side.(480 897 1746)
