  2. 2003 Banshee on Ebay 2000 Banshee on Ebay Check em' out...They are trick! I am only selling because I want to buy a sandrail...If you have any questions email me at: troywixom@msn.com Thanks, Troy
  3. Hey guys, I haven't posted here in awhile, but I was wondering if you could help me a little. Last time I went riding I broke a skirt on my piston and so now I am going to have to split the cases to remove the pieces and replace damaged parts. I have never split the cases before, and my dog ate my Clymers , so I was wondering if you could help me by giving me some tips so I don't screw anything up... Thanks for the help!!!
  4. I had my rear shock re-valved by a guy who goes by the name of DUNEDEMON on these forums. It is a huge improvement and would highly recommend his work. I am not sure if you can rebuild your front shocks (if they are stock), and even if you can I'm not sure if it would be worth you while. It would probably save you time and money to just flush 'em down the ...j/k So you might want to shoot him a PM or something, -Troy
  5. Do you have a picture of the reed cages you could send to soytroy@msn.com ? -Thanks, Troy
  6. TORS is already eliminated, and mains are jetted correctly. It hasn't always done this, I just kind of noticed it one day. I can check the float height I suppose, what should they be set at? -Troy
  7. Hey guys, I have kind of a weird problem...When I'm racing up hills at glamis (China, Olds, etc.) and I'm holding the throttle compltely pinned racin to the top, the motor has some sort of miss or something. It only happens about 50% of the time, and only when I'm wide open and revvin it pretty high. It like, cuts in and out, then when I let off the gas, it's fine again???What's this all about? Does anyone know what my problem may be? It is on the Red/Black shee in my sig. Thanks, Troy
  8. IMHO Alba blows!!! My Uncle spent thousands on that 400cc stroker kit (he got completely ripped off) and the first time he goes to ride his new pimp ride, it blows up in like a half hour....That sucks. So, he pulled the plugs and they were white and bone dry. I asked him to check what the jets were, but he insisted that he wasn't going to touch it, and was going to make Alba take care of it. Alba ends up re-doing the entire bike, and sends it back off to my Uncle. I have no idea what they did, but this time it blew up in like 20 minutes... So, my Uncle takes his bike back FOR THE THIRD TIME!!! and tells them to break it in and be sure everything is ok. They test the bike, and blow it up!!! At this point I'm cannot even believe that after spending all this money they can't make the bike run!! So, they fix it again and said this was the last time they were going to fix it, and toss it off to my Uncle. We met out at Glamis with his newly tricked out bike , and I kept telling him you need to check out the mains to at least see whats in there. So, we pull the carbs and the bike had 290's in there !!! This bike is suppose to be "hardcore" ported with everything you can imagine done, and they put 290's in! My bike is ported/polished and I run 360 mains. I finally talked him into putting these in, and sure enough, the bike has had no more problems....Alba needs to get a clue!!! Oh, by the way I completely smoked him. Needless to say he's a little TO'ed that he didn't have a different place do his motor work. Oh well, you live and you learn!!! -Troy
  9. I want to trade someone my Pro Circuit Pipes and Silencers for FMF Fattys and Power Core II Silencers. My pipes are in great shape...The only pictures I have are with them mounted on the bike. If someone is interested, please send pictures of your pipes/silencers to soytroy@msn.com. Thanks, Troy
  10. can you send me pictures of the pipes? I may be interested... Thanks- Troy
  11. Are the pipes still for sale? If so, how much, and can you send me some pictures to soytroy@msn.com? Thanks, Troy
  12. sorry I couldn't reply quickly...I was at Glamis ...But about the third gear start thing, you have to clutch the piss out of it but it'll do it. I find it easier because when racing up hills I can ride third through the whoops and shift into 4th and 5th up the hill. Even though off the line it wont be as fast, I can make it up in whoops faster. Oh, and I I have a 14 tooth front sprocket.
  13. Went to Glamis this past weekend and finally had a chance to see what these new "450's" were all about...I raced two up Olds that were completely stock and walked ALL over them. My banshee has some serious port work done though....I raced a couple more later on that had pipes and filters and it was a much closer race. I still won by quite a bit, but at least they gave me somewhat of a run for my money. Finally, I raced this other 450 at China Wall. Now this bike was VERY impressive. It rolled up next to me and it was completely decked out in Duncan racing stuff, and some trick looking beadlock rims...Anyways It smoked me off the line (I start in 3rd gear) and about halfway through the whoops I began to catch him. I continued to get closer but that bike had some serious top end too!!! I could barely catch him at the top and I ended up winning once out of the two times we raced. The guy darted off before we could do a third round Anywho---My take on the whole thing is that you have to take them serioulsy because they CAN be really quick...Racing a piped banshee vs. a piped 450 will result in a loss for the shee 90% of the time IMHO... Later, Troy
