  1. Why dont you try into a foam pit...I would think that you would need a big ass pile of snow to soak it up.
  2. when i was shoppin for a setup I actually bid and lost on that same setup -which im glad i did because i later heard that they dont back up their arms. most people runnin that setup have their frame and bending a arm is no big deal. went w/ quicksand and ended up saving alot of money and can sleep better knowing that i bought a product from someone that will honestly stand behind their product -in fact i went back for a swing arm thats how happy i am.
  3. You could always trap a fart in it and later ask a "unaware" buddy to take a sniff.
  4. Don't know if this pic will stay up -if not just click on my new album. Got this light pretty cheap and new off of ebay. you can get different colors but I chose blue.
  5. A bad photoshop job but I was just being goofy. check out how the Banshee sticker stayed on there tho.
  6. Nicky Papanicolas It's all greek to me too.
  7. The Banshee stays! I don't care if I'm broke -I'll work more. I don't care if I'd like a 450 and can't afford it-I'll save up for it before I sell the shee. And last, I hate this bad reputation the Banshee has acquired for being a high maintenance ride that requires a rebuild every winter. Before I had one I had that fear of it -crazy. I ride the hell out of it but I keep up and take care of it. I've rode all kinds of 4strokes and have yet to ride one that is as much fun.
  8. hope the pics work here, if not and interested I can email 'em. located in Southern Maryland. $1000 Here's the link http://www.bluetraxx.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=66493
  9. I've recently installed longer brake lines to fit w/ my 2+1 Q/sands. problem is I don't know if the local shop order lines for a 3+1 arms set-up cause both lines came same lenght as each other and after clamping them to both the upper / lower a-arms they seem to fit better mounted to the lowers. Anybody else have their lines tied to the lowers?
  10. Well I've only had DGs and ACs. the DG is really tuff and fits like it is factory. the AC is pretty weak and always a bitch to install. just my opinion: I like the looks of AC and will continue to replace back w/ AC cause I'd much rather have a bumper that will flex, bend up and absorb the impact rather than my frame gettin bent.
  11. For anyone thinking that z400's are crap, try to tell these guys. this is the best videos I've seen on the net. http://home.comcast.net/~hkfilmsweb/pages/videos.html
  12. This is my brother in-law's he can ride a wheelie forever on this thing and it's pretty fast. all-in all it's a really nice ride
  13. Wonder what size their expected laptop version would be. (if this whole thing wasn't fake)
  14. I've looked around for almost a year at a arms -cause i never had the extra money to buy shocks/arms but recently i did and they are awesome! I've never delt w/ a better person either. Gary is a honest person and points you in the direction you want not like others that only care about your money. Im going back for the swing arm click on "my new album"
  15. Thanks! that's what it took. 2 hours of it. next time I think I will get a pump to the bleeder. It was such a good feeling when the lever finally stiffened up. I kept thinking that I was drawin' air from the m/c.
  16. I recently added steel braided lines. everything seems to be working but still can't get any resistance on the lever. no leaks no more air (bubbles), fluid comes out of the bleeders when I crack it open -w/ tube looped and submerged into container of fluid. I think I need to get one of those pumps.I've pumped this frekin lever so much that now I know my sex life / brakes will be gone for atleast a week. any advice? (on the brakes j/k about the other thing)
  17. I've got a stock axle I will sell you pretty cheap.axle is straight and the splines are perfect. comes w/ the hub and axle nuts pm me or email at [email protected]
  18. I think that it's a no lose deal cause you didn't have to spend too much, doesn't look like you spent too much time taking stuff apart (maybe alittle masking) and from the pics it looks like a pro job. Are you going to put some clear on top? Might add more shine / durability. ...I wouldn't replace the zerks just add alittle boot like the ones on your brake calipers
  19. QUICKSAND
  20. Hey sandstar, took me a while -maybe next time I'll do alittle better.
  21. straight and splines great. If anyone is interested I will put some pics up.
  22. sorry about that...I do it all the time. I'll think I have a good invention then see it in the store for the first time and be like Anyways I'd like to see a pic I think it would be pretty cool. I think I'll do a search
  23. Just for the record, I've got a set of beat up rear plastics that I had tossed some ideas around. What do you think about cuttin' a web design into the plastic. I figure if it comes out like crap I can simply cut 'em down to a race cut.
  24. Hey rebelbanshee thanks for the pic... Quicksand is top notch and gary from there is very helpfull.
