  1. Sent you a PM.
  2. Sorry to hear that man. Is she going to be ok?
  3. Killpecker is up north of Rock Springs Wy. There are some dunes at Beaver State Park in the panhandle of Ok. About 350-400 acres. It 100 miles west of LS.
  4. My AT&T phone worked, but I had to stand on top of the truck w/my left arm point up and east. You get the idea. Reception may be better now, its been a few years since I was there.
  5. The Dodge was yellow at one time, then a primer grey. Always ran bald 35" type tires.
  6. Wow, sounds like things a have really changed. Used to make 2-3 trips a year to the mountain. It was pretty much a free for all and no charge to play. Can anyone tell me if the guy w/the lifted mid 70's dodge 4x4 is still playing out there. He used to put rails to shame w/his truck.
  7. Ducman: Where do you get your race fuel? I lived in Red Bluff from '90-'00. We used to buy I believe it was K+S race fuel up on the NE side of Redding. The guy had a smokin' shee w/a 750 4cyl. in it. Was just wondering if it was from the same guy. Think his name was Dennis. I hadn't bought fuel from him since about 96-97 when S+K in RB started carrying VP. Just curious thats all.
  8. The riding is all good. I've only camped at the south camps. If you have an RV though the north camp has hook-ups. A little more$ but might be worth it.
  9. Heres a pic of our hi jumper. 1835cc irs w/aluminum kingpin front. They can be rough, depends on the sand. If you've got the cash for a long travel, man go for it. For $10,000, you'll probably be limited to a mid travel. What ever you go w/though ,they are a blast. I might bring ours out to LS when we meet got1 there in april. If your around we can go for a run. Talk to Phil Jackson at Jackson Motorsports in Great Bend KS. He's built a couple of the long travels you've seen a LS, plus a bunch of others. Dune-buggy.com is another decent site to check. Heres the link to Jackson Motorsports site. http://jacksonsandcars.com/
  10. Planning on being there on the 10th, will have the raptor and the shee if I still have it.
  11. Plan on making a day trip on the 10th.
  12. Right on, just let me know. Where in Ks are you?
  13. Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for something a little quicker and better handling than a warrior.
  14. Another pic
  15. Its time to let it go and get another thumper. Just got back from the dunes in Kermit Tx. The bike ran flawlessly all week. Needs nothing but a rider. '00 Banshee w/a sandtrax motor. Welded crank, adj. timing plate, lightened flywheel, ported, pro design head w/20cc domes, FMF Fattys w/FMF silencers, K+N Filter. Yellow powdercoated frame, +2 a-arms, and hubs(wheel and axle). Cascade seat cover, Blue fullbore front plastics w/chrome grill. White rear plastics. 90% holeshots on Douglas .190's Have receipts totaling over 3,000$ not including the bike, plastics or tires Looking to trade for another Raptor, maybe a predator or a c-dale, yfz or $5000 I won't part it out.
  16. And I already had it on the transport for ya.
  17. Only if its a polished boost bottle
  18. Looking to trade my FMF fatty's and silencers for a good set of set of chrome t5's and toomey silencers. I can be emailed at [email protected]. Send pics of what you have.
  19. Ya Rick, you cheap bastard. I'll give you $30 and you drive it down to me. LMAO.
  20. Where do you live? My R leaked like crazy when the temps dropped below freezing. I'd suggest checking your float level first if its leaking from the overflow. Does it leak all the time? At an Idle? When its just sitting there not running? Any info will help.
  21. Might want to check the float level too. I made that mistake when I put my single on. It was way low. This is probably a dumb statement, but make sure the intake tract is clear. Had a buddy stick a rag in the air box while he was cleaning it and forgot to take it out when he put the filter on. After I installed the single. It took the best part of the afternoon to get it dialed in the way I wanted, so don't give up. Its really worth it when your done. If you get to frustrated, I'll take it off your hands.
  22. 370 miles from the center of fort Worth to The dunes.
  23. erbilabuc: I'd definately be interested. What shape are the rims in? Could you possibly email me a pic or two of them at [email protected] Thanks
