If you really want the full Glamis experience, you need to park across from the store in the garbage flats on a busy weekend. I got there late on a thanksgiving weekend and was the only place I could find to park the Motor home. Yes its as bad as it sounds, but the riding made up for it. If you go w/a motor home, I recommend parking off Gecko. Otherwise air'em down and head out. When it comes down to it, there is no bad parking there. Expecially now that i'm landlocked in Oklahoma.

This type of liberal rhetoric has been going on for years and the atv industry has thrived. I'm going to date myself here and go back to the mid 80's. Gary Collins had a TV talk show kind of like Oprah and Donahue. He had a greiving mother on that was crying big tears for her dead son. Don't get me wrong here. I would to, but for different reasons. She stated that no one had told her of the dangers of the atv she bought for her son. And that she figured it would be a "great babysitter". So she stuck an unprepared/unsupervised child on a quad and he proceeded to impale himself on a tree limb. All the time she blamed the industry and the dealer for not informing her. I don't know about you guys, but my dad spent time w/me showing me the finer points of riding my 1st minibike. Just like I have done w/ my son. On this same show they showed video of a young man jumping a utility quad of the day. Remember these were no where near what they are today. Of course he was only wearing shorts and tennis shoes. It endoed and rolled over him. The statement was made that these machines are extremely dangerous. I agree. that machine almost killed that young man. I have been hurt the worst on a quad, but the quad didn't taunt me into it. IT was my ego and balls that did it. I guess the point I'm trying to make is through this the industry has taken numerous pot shots from uninformed groups, and still has grown to what it is today and will continue to grow with the support of people like us. Just my $.02, well maybe $.25. PS. I have a mildly modified banshee. Do you think I can squeeze 190-200mph out of it

Where To Get Custom Grafix?
Travis's Banshee replied to NAXbansheeman11's topic in Banshee Appearance
A place called Socal that advertises in the classifieds in Cycle News did a set for for my 98 YZ400. Emailed them a pic of what I wanted and they did it. Looked as good as any graphic kit sold. If I remember right, it was 90-100 dollars. -
alcoholbanshee are you saying stock carbs w/existing jetting? I've run alcohol for years. My experience has been you start about 1/3 larger on the jetting and run 34-to 35's at least. With more fuel, comes more air. FTZ recommended larger for higher horse motors. I've never ran a pingle either, just did the same mod as you w/the existing petcock.

Bike has been sold. Thanks Guys. -
Depending on the buyer. I've shipped tires via greyhound package express. Very reasonable and very quick. The only draw back I've found is you need to drop them at a greyhond receiving station and the buyer need to pick them up. Heres a link to their site. http://www.shipgreyhound.com

Looking to trade my '01 TTR125L for a roller quad. Looking for something to put my 426 motor in. Would like a watercooled roller if possible. KBB on the 125 is 1800. Bike has very little time. Less than 10 hours. All stock. Is a great play/pit bike. The boy out grew it and moved on to a banshee. Post, pm ot email me. Thanks Todd

I guess I'll stir the pot a little here. Back in the day, Johnny O'mara smoked the world on a 125 at the des nations. He beat the worlds best on on his works 125 and he beat works 250's and 500's. I believe Steve Lamson did it again in the mid 90's at the des nations in Spain. In supercross and motocross, Bubba Stewart is running lap times w/the 250's on his 125. So w/all things equal, a 125 can beat the others. I guess what I'm saying is that it all depends on who is in the saddle.
