  1. I think its about time someone stepped up and tried something different, its been over 20 years w/the same old design.
  2. No problem here. got your email today. Replied back.
  3. We've got a D-way dish through Direct TV. Its a complete seperate unit. Download times are fast. Upload times are better than dial-up, but not as fast as dsl. Hope this helps.
  4. If I'm home, we'll be there. But right now it looks like I'll be back in Florida. "Dennis" is heading that way and that means I'll be there working.
  5. Where are you camping at Holeshot? Is Cowboy Camp open during the summer. Any place to park a 40' motorhome at the South camp w/electrical hookups?
  6. Man go fer four wheels, not two. The 89 zilla already has the better head. The 87 was the bad year. I'd pull the mag cover and check for play. If there is any, probably going to need the bottom end looked into. Zillas are notorious for hurting the mag side crank bearing. If theres no play you should be good to go. I've owned two of them and had no problems w/either. They just need attention like any other quad. As far a feeling like a tank, They are bigger, but very stable. I'd love to have another one sitting around to play with.
  7. You just can't tell kids anything these days......
  8. Ya know, If I'm still home I might make a day trip over. We finally have the banshee back together. Might be a good breakin ride. LOL.
  9. HAHAHAHA Kickin' Wing rules. Bottle rockets here.
  10. W/20cc domes, You can definately get by w/93. That was a similar setup to ours before we switched to 18cc domes. Now were 167psi and need to run race gas.
  11. I'd start w/the basics. If you have fuel, spark and compression. The only other thing you need is air. How long since you cleaned your filter? They will plug and and run a bike so rich you'll foul plugs. W/that being said. Do you get a good clean spark? Or a poor spark? Plugs fouled? Check you carb vent lines and make sure there clear. If the carb won't vent, you won't get a good clean fuel flow. After doing a compression test. I'd run a leak down test and and eliminate that possiblity. Hope some of this helps.
  12. http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/ This is where I found them at.
  13. These guys are a bunch of scum. One of them tried to sell my buddies mid engine subuaru powered sand rail on ebay too. Not sure if any of you have run across this site, but these guys screw w/these scam artists. Its some pretty entertaining reading. http://www.ebolamonkeyman.com/
  14. I had a yz400f and a yz426f. Both were awesome rides, but after riding my buddies cr450f honda, thats probably the way I'd go.
  15. Probably not. If its like a Harley's vin, only 4-6 of the numbers on the engine match the frame vin.
  16. HUH, Aftermarkert parts are as plentiful for the R's as the shee's. Not quit sure what your talking about there. I have both a banshee and a 250R. The Shee is way better in the dunes, but the R kicks butt on the trails and the track.
  17. Yamaha also built an RD 350 in the early to mid 70's. Also air cooled.
  18. We'll be out for spring break again. Probalby get there March 13-14 and stay for 4 days.
  19. Its going to sunny and 75 all week, I've already put in my order.
