  1. Thanks for the advice, I am going for the T-5s it sounds like. Wallrat, any jetting changes with the swap ?
  2. I want to replace my fattys because I put one hell of a dent in the right side with my knee out in the dunes. I have been happy with the performance of these, but I want to try either some T-5s or CPIs. Strictly for dune use ..........
  3. You'd be suprised how well it holds up maybe brad can answer. Think of the chrome bumpers on your truck , and how much crap hits them. They'll hold up fine.
  4. I understand his point of view " building it is fun" part and totally relate. Trying to start building something new can be refreshing, especially to those of us who constantly swap parts, upgrade, etc, etc. I'll bet anything the toy that replaces this one will be even better thought out and be just as unique. Now only if I could sell some stock and scrape some pennies together for that bad mo fo!!
  5. Is the title signed on the back by him ? Is it Notarized? If not you can do one of two things. Either contact him, send the title to him and have him sign it and have the notary. Easier way that I have done is get a power of attorney form from the DMV send it to him to sign and have notarized. When he signs that he is basically signing the quad to you. You will take that in , with the title , pay the title transfer fee and get the new one in your name. HTH
  6. I really hope that whoever does end up with that , keeps it in the sand, and takes good care of it.
  7. I run a single carb set up on mine, only has the single pulley in the throtte, the cable is a stainless terrycable unit. sorry I should have included that earlier.
  8. heres another pic installed TWIST THROTTLE
  9. blah , blah, blah , those are all junk compared to this baby I got here , HAD IT FOR 2 SEASONS in the dunes so far, and zero maint. TORNADO THROTTLE

  12. Here you go ...stuff this, one of my personal favorites,
  13. Run it in my dirt bikes(power valve) with av gas, run it in the banshee with 110 , done my own top ends, never had a problem here.
  14. Butter cup

  19. Hey man, From reading some of your stuff on Glamis Dunes, it sounds like you do most of your riding during the week days. I myself work week end nights, leaving pretty much monday thru thursday open. Another one of my riding buddies is off sunday thru tuesday. With that said we should plan a week trip to gordons or something. Let me know if your down for something like this . OH yeah WTF is a flat biller? Is it someone who charges a set rate regardless of seeing the work? or Someone whos hats bill is not formed or rounded? or Someone who irons their money? Later
  20. In march the old lady and I went to Puerto Vallerata , I forgot about these pictures I took. I had a damn good buzz going at the time.
  21. You guys got some nice set ups there, thanks for the pics as well. I'm in the same situation as CR. If the old lady ain't going , I just throw the banshee in the back of the truck. Well at least my poor friends don't have to lend me their trailers any more! this is what I bought last night, $780 plus another $100 for permanet tags, should work out great being that its small enough to pull into the dunes a ways without getting stuck. Fits in the back yard nicely as well. What do you guys think, I don't feel like I got ripped to bad
  22. here s one!! and it not nude too
  23. You know its still not a bad idea, I lock all 3 of my bikes together in my garage all the time, its more for a deterrant than any thing , but it also gives me a little piece of mind knowing someone can't just roll it right out of my garage.

  25. did you figure this one out?
