Should i try moving the needle position all the way up?

CEL needle on middle clip, 50 pilot, 172 main, mild port, 19cc domes, +4 timing ridden in glamis, seems like this is lean compared to some specs Ive read here. but , it feels pretty rich up top, I threw a 170 in it , but have'nt rode it yet, gonna check it at the dunes. just wondering why i'm at a 170 and everyone else seems to be around a 180?

I put an EBC in mine after my barnett went. It uses an extra plate, and has a stiffer feel. This will be my 3rd season on it.

Sure, whatever you say. AND I have never drag raced any 450s up olds with a single carbed 350cc set up. I guess a 450 has too much top end

What size haulers are those on B-rider21's ride? I'm running 20x10x10 s , I know I'm spinning too much, instead of re gearing , I wanted the haulers for more ground clearance and better ride.

Its really too bad. Met some of these guys who do the summer drags at a house party a few months ago. Seem like a real rowdy /sloppy drunk group . They gave me an invite to check it out. But, I'd feel a little nervous bein' the only white boy out there.

Renthal only makes the bare aluminum for banshees( as far as I can find) I do have a black renthal on my dirt bike and it looks awsome. I'm pretty sure its anodized. The sprocket hub I have is an aluminum lonestar so I wo'nt be coating that. -

My buddy has a powder coating setup in his garage, alot of his stuff turn out good. He offered to powder coat any thing that will fit in the oven. I want to try the rear spocket in a gloss black , I,m thinking it should hold up well, or at least for the life of an aluminum sprocket.

How hott does your clutch cover get?

Riding out in the dunes(20-30 mins) pretty hard I can touch mine after about 10 minutes, on my old warrior on the same ride , it stayed too hot to touch for at least 30 minutes. Same oil was used and both bikes were running perfectly, I guess if you really abuse the clutch you can get the temps to soar. -
Joe is the guy with my shock right now, a lot of people have been happy with the work done over at GD.com.

I never had a good set up with race tech on my dirt bikes, after multiple times back for springs and valving , I had motoworks set me up and was happy with them , but they won't touch a stock banshee rear shock for some reason.

Right now my paddle tire is still on it, but the one in the pic should be a michelin m-12, they seem to work great on the hard pack / over watered tracks out here

Well I wanted the taller tire for less spin . Would be for Olds hill , but if I'm going to load it down too much, I will stick with the 8 paddles. Really a 21 x12 x 8 8 paddle vs a 20x10x10 8 paddle is it worth it?
