power valves smooth the transition into the powerband.some say they give you more low end torque with a more top end port.has something to do with the changing of exhuast port timing.i think.
old school fmf gold series,are the ticket for ya.i ran them last year and loved them.whent to rockets and love them like a drunk blonde.the gold series are simular to fatty's but with a nickle finish.you can pick them up pretty cheep too
i trail ride my shee alot and the 17 is good.alot less shifting and just a tad bit of clutchin when doing some slower technicle stuff like tight turns,and off camber hills.maybe a 16 would fit you well
i think a few people already said it.your machine is onley as reliable as the person who put it together.you have to be patient and organized.i bet your the kinda guy who doesnt even have a manual for it.ive seen it to many times.these posts make me sick,sell it you sally.buy a 4 stroke and and a pack of tampons.j/k with the last part

try a 17 frt.it'll pull it.i whent from a 14 to 17,with rockets and simular mods and like it much better.the 17 shifted the power band up just a bit but still had alot of bottom end grunt
oh including the bike.youll be lucky to get 2g's for it.a blaster has zery little resale value.your better off throwing it on ebay and take your chances
and when the saw mill has to cut back jobs because there in the red,you may be kicking your self.but i do agree some what as to what you did,but i would have taken the lumber home and sold it for 500$.nice bonus
i only use either in stuff i dont own.i do beleive that to much causes cylinder washdown.as for the jetting,i never trust any body with my carbs,its easy enough to do it your self.
its easy to switch the drive gear.you have to gring off the head of the rivet,and drive them out with a punch.my wiseco came with new cusions and the allen head bolts.
