I put all builders in the same catagory. Some are absolutly better than others, but they do things for the money. Nothing wrong with that, but it is very foolish to expect that YOUR bike was ported,built or cared for by the guy that started the busness. There comes a point that hired help factors in as the workload increases. Quality starts to decrease. I refer to Trinity because I have done busness with them and have been disapointed. I'll go along with the conventional wisdom in here that Patriot is reputable. But if you are gonna jump on Trinity about a usless port job, be consistant and join me in saying that decking the bottom of them makes even less sense.

I pay 120 for full coverage for a year on my Banshee and 75 for my 400 scrambler(drinkin bike). American family. They cover my House, my truck my two jeeps and my motorhome. The more stuff you insure with the same company, the more of a discount they seem to give you.

Turns out, this great mod couldn't hold together for more than a few rides. One of my buddies fell victim to it. Just because a builder makes it doesn't make it gospel. Trinity used to be the best. I think removing material from the bottom of the cylinder is a bad idea. 1. cylinders are now oddball. You are tied to the guy that decked them. Replacement parts will not match up. 2. Seems to me that now you have a head clearance problem. More milling/fabrication needed to fix that problem. 3.No more warranty. Better hope these mods hold together. Oh, and where do you get a plated cylinder bored? All in order to give the Banshee a more manageable power curve. I'm sure you'll have a good answer to these issues, but these were the reasons I called BS. Why don't those cubs come in a low performance model from the manufactuer? Because DETUNE and BANSHEE don't belong in the same sentance. Get a honda and quit trying to make a Banshee's power curve like a 400ex. Just my opinion. There is nothing wrong with this site.

Yep. Glamis is King. You, my eastern friend, are in for a real treat. The cinders in Flagstaff are pretty cool.(temp and riding area) Those volcanos get VERY steep. I'm in Queen Creek (East Valley). Get with me around Halloween. We have a 25-30 rider group that spends most winter weekends at Glamis. We are gonna have 4 long travel Rails in camp this year. You gotta go on a rail ride. It will change your life.
