  1. lotta miles for that much dough.
  2. Get him stuffed, wait....he already was. Did that cat like to sink his claws into your foam seat? I had to nail one with a bb gun for that.
  3. If you only knew....
  4. Your banshee has power steering?!?
  5. A "rebuild" to me means a new bore, pistons rings and gaskets. A ring job and a hone is just a lazy summer Saturday.
  6. Also, tree badger, sorry to hear about "Scotty" from Star Trek buying his ticket.
  7. Well, you need to narrow it down from "free reign". Is it gonna look like Geiger, or is it gonna look like graffiti? Will it have water drips or will it have flame Will it have pin-up girls or pin up dudes? Will it look like a mix mash of practice strokes, or a masterpiece? What colors will it be?
  8. Fullbores are last week's fad. I love seeing stock fenders modded and changed into somthing that stands out.
  9. Also, they need to be cleared and able to flex a bit. Fuel-proof would also be nice. Do a good job and I might be able to send more your way...
  10. I'm game. You gotta tell me a general theme, though. And you have to paint a Full set-fronts shroud and tank cover. I would really like some emerald green real flame over black fenders. They are race cut front and rear, so most of the grafics will have to be small. I have another set, but they have fusion on them. If you want to sand it off, I will send those. Let me know, Sam
  11. DON"T USE DRILLED JETS!!!!!!!!!! They might not get them exactly the same, and that is bad. Check for an air leak around the carb boots and reed cage. Check your reeds. make sure they are laying FLAT. If not, take the warped one off and flip it over. If you have problems in every throttle position, that would mean not only are the mains off, but so are the rest of the circuts. I would start by looking for an air leak. If you have a buddy with a Banshee that has similar mods, swap his carbs in and see if it runs better. If it does, copy his set-up and fine tune from there. If you are completely confused by the Banshee gnomes, take it to a reputable builder and pay him to get it spot-on.
  12. Lot of good advice. Maintain it properly, and you should never have a problem. Half-ass it and you will join the rebuild-it-every season club. I find it funny to see ads that say "04 Banshee, fresh rebuild" What the hell did they do to blow a stock 04 already???
  13. Read the damn thread. We have already fought the rpm point out.
  14. I run the resistors (bR9) because of my dyna fs, too. If you are running a mildly modded Banshee, stick with b8es. They are cheap, you can get them everywhere, and they perform very well. Don't change heat ranges until you have a definate reason to. (nos, super high compression,ect...)
  15. I've got a little Bansheeshack 11mm with silly gas that will make your little honda saber look silly. I have a bud with a 500 sumthin' honda. He will not race me anymore. Hondas are nice learner bikes. You won't get into too much trouble with em'!
  16. Please tell me your joking, 88.
  17. Thanks for not reading the thread, jackass.
  18. If you don't keep the shock covers clean, they will destroy the pc on your springs. Also, if you get them wet, it takes alot longer for the shock to dry.(rust issues) I have never run them, but I had a friend that was really pissed after taking covers off of his Elkas after a year of riding. They looked rusted and scraped like someone took 200 grit sandpaper to the spring. The neoprene had chaffed clear through the powder coat in some places. They are good for hiding your old beat up shocks, but I wouldn't put them on new shocks.
  19. Yeah. What he said.^^^ Go with mild steel. Get a goog prototype made up that fits and works good. Then try chromo, ya' homo. Or just pump up the mild steel arms with helium to make them lighter.
  20. Well, who is going to be there on the 23-24, and who is going on the 30th? I want to see/participate in the builder races. I don't wanna see a bunch of raptors and 400exs.
  21. Hehe, this is funny! I really don't care as long as threads are reasonably left to develop on their own. Things have a way of working themselves out on here, even if it is 20 pages later. Sometimes you need to be able to go back and re-read the previous posts to be relevent, or to see how stupid you sound after posting drunk the night before.( One of my many faults) If you wanna be a mod, cool. If you wanna post pics of brooks ta ta's, thatd be cool too. Boo to cencorship.
  22. I'm gonna make an effort to make it.
  23. Elkas are nice, but I have never had a reason to get any other shock other than Works. They are cheap, rebuildable and work really well.
