  1. Hey Jake, You ever get that axle in the mail?
  2. I need the bushing sleeves for the lower a arms only, a total of two sets, 8 individually. Please pm me or respond here if you have some, must be in good shape, no corrosion or excessive wear. Thanks, Blake
  3. That's probably the difference then, mine is from an 06.
  4. Strange, I took my ASV lever off my banshee MC and used it with my yfz set up when I switched over the braking system.
  5. You won't have to, the levers are the same.
  6. You can upgrade to any mc you want really. They're all interchangeable but depending on your calipers you may not need anything more than the yfz mc. If you run dual piston calipers or more per side you want the yfz or an aftermarket mc, otherwise the lever will feel squishy.
  7. I would most likely get the 525 rfs. That's a proven engine, my 525 supermoto took some hard beating and a lot of miles and still ran like a champ. Out of the ones listed I would most likely choose the yfz.
  8. Maybe they are out of your desired price range since you didn't mention them, but the ktm line up are about the best out of the box bikes out there.
  9. Love this thread, it's about time there is something devoted to the elusive LSR and Leager builds. You never see much about them other then mention here and there and the occasional pic. This may be more than some are willing to answer but roughly what is the cost of the complete Outlaw rolling chassis and the price of the Leager? I have not had the coin all at once to consider a call to either company worth their while (Or so I assume ) to price one out. I also do not have the developed ability or the tools to build my own as of now, like Evan. Keep the pictures coming guys, no cooler banshee's out there in my opinion. Lets see yours Cam.
  10. Nice find, love the 250 resto.
  11. Sell the motor and all. Should help a lot with the hybrid expenses.
  12. Just because the arms themselves are longer does not mean it will sit lower. If the lower shock mounts are the same distance out it will sit at the same height as before with the same shocks, unless under load, where as DDQ stated already, the added leverage will compress the shocks further. Aftermarket arms are NOT intended to be used with stock shocks, of course it "works," but horribly so. Don't be cheap and save up for properly set up shocks for the a arms is the moral of the story.
  13. Mine are Tag, I don't recall what bend. Just get an extended stem or some risers, most high bend bars don't look very good, imo.
  14. You will loose. You're gonna need some porting, stroker, or some sort of aftermarket cylinder to get that heavy quad moving faster than a light ass high revving 450.
  15. My guess is just what you mentioned, it allowed them to stretch out fifth to the speeds they needed without having to lug that tall ass 6'th gear and shift back and forth.
  16. That's the graydon 2-1 intake, it's supposedly the better design of the 2-1 intakes, better than the "pretty" billet ones. I don't have direct experience with it so I can't confirm that but that is what I have read while researching them over time. Also the 2-1 increases the bottom-mid and looses out on the top when compared to the dual carbs. There has been a lot of misinformation in this thread. Don't be too quick to switch back over, many people run a single with great success and there are some small advantages to the single such as much lighter throttle pull and no need to synch. Like some have said, worry with that later, if it's not giving you problems now.
  17. You would be wise to listen to LS3. Put 2-3 hundo into the savings and DO NOT TOUCH IT, only add to it. Use the rest for some go fast goodies. Educate yourself first and foremost, you're young and have a lot of learning to do yet.
  18. Email is [email protected]. Feel free to shoot me a PM or email anytime.
  19. Selling a Trinity 2-1 complete intake with 35mm pwk and several mains/pilots, braided cable, clamp on filter with new outware. Asking 210 shipped. Ready to bolt up.
  20. What was the original point of this thread? Of course the banshee is better if it wasn't we'd be with the loosers on a different atv forum.
  21. I have been keeping tabs on HGT/Wicked endeavor. From what I read Richard has no intention of using those throttle bodies for the final product or leaving the injectors at 90* but rather 45*. He just set the shit together fucking around as far as I can tell as he's waiting to acquire a chassis and pipes to test with. He mentioned it is a hobby of his since retiring from GM but he is taking the kit seriously, just trying to keep cost down as much as possible during testing. I wish them and zilla the best. The first person who figures out how to make a performing kit on the lower end of the theoretical price scale is going to make some money, not to mention further the sport.
  22. Hard to say, I've seen several of your posts talking about a ton of upgrades and I have no idea what all you are already planning on doing or exactly what you're setting the bike up for. He's my Fireball LT front end with 19.75" Axis triples on yfz spindles.
  23. It's not that it doesn't do anything, it's that it doesn't do $600 worth of anything. It looks pretty but it isn't going to provide any noticeable difference in your suspension quality or travel. Nothing someone, short of a pro with hundreds of hours on one set up then immediately switching over, would ever notice. Some may say "I noticed a difference" but that is just their sub-conscience justifying all the money they just spent. Not to mention many don't just upgrade the linkage but the shock and other things simultaneously, eliminating any real comparison between the stock linkage. Long story short save that money to go toward something more functional that will provide a true, noticeable difference.
