  1. I run lectron carbs and love them. They are a little pricey tho. 35s seem a little big. I run 34mm Lectrons on a drag ported 350 on gas with CPI's. If you have mild porting i would go with a 28 to 30, and with more extensive porting i would go with a 32 to 34. JMO.
  2. I'd stay away from it. I havent had any personal experience but from what i understand it has a flat timing curve, and the lack of flywheel hurts a 350 motor because it needs the torque. On bigger motors the biggest complaint ive heard is its hard to start. Hope this helps...
  3. Albany Cycle Performance did my motor work. Only took them two weeks, took the whole bike, split the cases, put in new crank, replaced worn transmission parts, ported the jugs and cases, and set up our new lectrons. Gave us a very good price too. I've ran a 4.57 and consistant 4.60s on a gas 350, inframes, no override and no light parts.
  4. i think 14/41 is stock. I might even go 16/41 or 15/39, are u going to be able to test and tune?

  6. id say around 15-41
  7. I just want to know how fighting in Iraq is helping our country. What are our soldiers over there dying for?
  8. Looks real good . Keep us posted on what it runs.
  9. race him for pink slips if hes so confident...theres a kid by me with a scrambler 400 with everything done to it that want to race me Whats done to your motor? If he really has everything he will probaly outrun you. I have a Polaris Scrambler that ran consistent 5.3s in 300ft. They are quicker than you think. Anyways, back to the original post, a trail boss 250 will kill you. The 250 stands for its horsepower, not its cc's.
  10. Get some 10x4 rims, and some scooter tires. The scooter tires are pretty cheap, you can get some for $16 a peice up to around $40 a peice.
  11. Hmmmm...ok
  12. If you are running a grand river motor and it's on any surface that grips... I don't suggest dumping the clutch in second Oh, I just noticed you said grr pipes.. .not engine. Why do you say that?
  13. 2nd
  14. Shorty's racing, thats bout the only place i know that lists prices but thats not where we got them. They'll probaly be around $600.
  15. Im runnin some 1.8 60ft, 4.8 330ft, 7.6 @ 87 1/8 mile, 12.30 @ 99 1/4 mile. This was one of my best runs. My 60ft is the same as my dirt times and my 330ft is slower than my dirt times. Not bad for a gas 350 with no slicks, no wheelie bar, no ovverride,no light parts(with exception for a 10 pound swingarm), and a 15 year old rider.
  16. I like my CPIs and for some reason i like the dmcs with one muffler. They kinda sound like a motorcycle or somethin, i dunno.
  17. Since i see you drag race, if you got the cash get the lectrons. Very easy to tune, and a great carb.
  18. yea thats smokin. whats ur motor setup and who built it? Our builder has a 350 on a stock frame all motor goin 6.5s. Another guy at who races dirt with us had a 10 mill t-rex that would go 6.00s.
  19. It should be okay, we ran 230psi for about a year and it never broke down. When we tore it down the crank was about to separate, but there is no tellin how long it was like it was.
  20. Yea, there's some dunes in Albany. You should check it out one day.
  21. 99.72 mph through th 1/4, but topped out before the finish. 15/40 gearing with 20 in tires.
  22. Just what it says. Just got done with a rebuild and need to know how much torque do you put on the coolhead.
  23. now i agree bansheeBOY88 is immature, but im 14(15 tomorrow ), and i started riding a decent drag banshee when i was 12, and my cousin hoo is now 13 did too. O yea, bansheeboy, where is ur turf?? Im goin to Monticello in October if you want to race at a neutral location.
  24. 4.57 at 68 or somethin like that. gas 350 on a stock frame, no light parts, no override.
  25. If you weren't in So. Cal. I would say Albany Cycle Performance in Albany Ga. They ported our jugs and cases, replaced a crank, went through the transmission and checked everything, and put it together and jetted and tuned in the motor in just under 2 weeks. The banshee is awesome now. Runs low 4.60s in 300ft. on gas with no lightweight parts, and has went 4.57.
