where in georgia are you moving??? there are dunes in albany but they are extremely small compared to glamis i believe. If your in south georgia you could take up drag racing, pm me about it.
i know a blaster isnt as fast as a banshee, but this blaster was bought for around 500 bucks and we dont really brag about it beating banshees. We have a banshee that runs consistant low 4.6s on gas with no override, so i know a well built blaster still can't beat a banshee, im just saying don't underestimate them. I don't look for banshees to race with the blaster, i prefer beating raptors and other things with around the same money into them.
Why do people think blasters are so slow? My cousin has a blaster with a 240 cylinder, no port work, ftz drag pipe, pvl ignition, 34pj carb that runs 5.6s when it stays down. Now around here thats faster than piped banshees with stock suspension.
i ran a 15/40 on a stock frame gas 350 with inframes, no light parts, and duro flattrack tires(very hard compound ) and ran a 7.60 at 87. My builder has a stock frame 350 that runs 6.40s and 6.50s with i think a 16/40 gearing.
Our superstock banshee has went 4.66 and there is one around here that goes 4.50s consistently and another one thats hit 4.47. That's no override, no drag pipes, stock frame, gasoline, no long-rod or lightened cranks, no lightweight axles etc.
make sure your air adjustment screw is still there. Mine rattled out on the polaris and i crunk it up in gear. It ran into the woods and ruined my week old paintjob.
I seen a drag banshee with custom painted raptor plastics, and it looked good. I need a set of plastics now and if i dont get any b4 the raptor plastics come out, i might have to check on some prices. I'm just wondering what kind of headlights are gonna be needed to look good.
but with a -2 swingarm when you start getting some power what are you gonna do? Wheelie everywhere you go? I would go with the tires that come stock on the 400ex.
we run a shock, everyone here who is fast runs a shock. everyone with a strut spins out the hole, the only reason they run one is to keep the front end down.
