I would get the cylinders drag ported (top end)
ditch the 2 into1 pipe and get a t-5 or cpi or maybe sst's
wiseco prolites (have the windows port matched)
get tha stock reed cages ported
and get some different reeds..........
then you may have a chance (granted his craptor is set up right........)
I have an 03 686 raptor stage 2 hot cam, ported head, stock carbs, no airbox and runnin pump gas
and I can put about 2 lengths on my buddies shee
he has a 95-96 with sst's cylinders drag ported
wiseco prolites
and v-force reeds
but both of our quads are tuned perfectly!(or the were at the time of the race)
I'm trying to tune mine differently so I can run a little extreme power fuel.....
