  3. aight guys......i spent a ton of cash and mxed out my shee....... and it only took one trip to the track to figure out that mx isn't for me......... I have already sold the axle and inframe pipes now I need to sale the elkas...... I have all three shocks less than one month old and have one ride on them...... all three are dual rates. the front 2 are piggy back and the rear is remote(the only way it comes) it REALLY helped out the ride and handling of my shee.......TONS better than the works shocks I replaced with the elkas...... I paid over 2K for the set nearly a month ago.......i'm willing to take a loss but not a beating........ make me an offer guyz...... here is what i need I need a JJ&A axle and some cash to buy some marvin shaws...... if you have anything else you think might work shoot me a pm and i'll see what I can do..........

  5. you better check everything that trinity does before you run that thing...... they hammered me and i'm a one of their dealers......... I personally wouldn't buy shit else from them.....unless you are buying UNprted cheetah cylinders and letting a REPUTABLE builder port/ set them up for you........

I don't think i'd start waving the checkerd flag too soon......my buddy has a 450r with a cam pipe and intake and he is running LOW 8's......consistantly around 8.30 ofcourse his is struted with slicks.......but he was spanking my ass all night on my yfz because i spun past the 330' mark.... one of the other guys that went up there with me broke the track record friday [email protected] and a 1.5437 60' he is sitting about 3" off the ground with a +8 swinger and american racer rears that K&T motor pulls......he still wheelied for about 15'

I have a set of all three elkas have one ride on them.......set up for a 200-230lbs dual rates all the way around.......they are in perfect shape and are the best standard travel shocks made by elka...... let me know if you want them........ they are awesome shocks.......but it only took one ride at the mx track to figure out that my fat ass doesn't belong there.......LOL
  10. if they are so slow and you only beat him by 1-2 lengths that would make you slow as well........just not AS slow.....correct?

  12. granted there weren't anything but piped banshees around here, I couldn't find a shee to run anywhere near my raptor........when it was a 686 even..... and stock raptors SPANK stock banshees on dirt/gravel

  14. after reading all of the coments, heres my theory...... the left plug vibrated out........and it continued to run cor about 1-2 seconds..... sucking air through the crankcase into the right cylinder.......leaning the hell outa it......(Melt down begins) it made it about 2 more runs b4 completely locking up......
  15. I tried stock yamaha o rings and it was really tight......I put the ones in there that came with a vitos kit and it worked a little better.....but still very tight....

I was at the dunes saturday going from 3rd to fourth........I think I probably over reved a bit......mainly because I couldn't get it out of third gear......here are some pics.....please help me figure out what is wrong....... the right piston is fucked and so is the dome......but the left side looks great........ crank and rods feel tight and rods appear to be straight.... what the hell happened here...?
