  1. If it's the origional U-joint there is an epoxy that has to be headed with a torch to remove it. When it gets hot enough the epoxy will flow out - then beat the joint out but be careful you don't bend the ears on the driveshaft.
  2. There is a spring clip that hold them on so it shoulded be too hard to replace. Cascade Innovations sell replacement boots for ball joints.
  3. You can buy NGK plugs that has that piece that doesn't unscrew - it's solid
  4. I have Cascade pipe clamps and have had no problems with them. They will polish up real nice to with a little work to.
  5. I seen a dyno comparison with a bunch of pipes and the Graydon Proline's were right there with FMF, Toomey etc. They seemed to be good pipes. There are new ones on Ebay sometimes for a really good price.
  6. I have a Pro Design intake w/ boost bottle and I run reed spacers w/no problems. I don't think the spacers help much other then raise bigger carbs up from clutch arm - I put the spacers back in because I had them.
  7. I hope you got them cheap since they are on their last leg. Your jetting should be much different and you don't have to change domes unless they are ported.
  8. Mine cracked up near the front of the swing arm about 4 years ago and I welded it and had no problems since.
  9. Try these guys - they have some http://www.gravesmotorsports.com/covers/index.htm
  10. They told me at Elka that for trail riding that rezi's were a waste of money and that I didn't need them unless I was really into racing......but man the piggybacks look good - just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for shocks for the type of driving I do
  11. Replace the o-rings
  12. Put some new o-rings in your pipes if its leaking where the exhaust attacheches to the cylinders. If that don't completely seal it, try some Ultra Copper silicone also
  13. I recently bought a set of Elka's recrational shocks (no bottles) but haven't got to really try them yet because of snow. They sell for about $450US and are very nice. Rezi's w/compression adjustment will cost a bit more. Check out their site: http://www.elkasuspension.com/atvhome.htm Had mine 3 days after I ordered them
  14. Fat Bastards are made by Vito's. I don't know much about them but they claim they're a high rev pipe like CPI's & Rockets and seem to cost more $$$
  15. Personally I hate the look of Rocket pipes so I bought CPI's. Everyone on here that has Rockets seem to really like them also - so whichever ones you decide to buy I'm sure you'll be happy with them.
  16. I just installed a tether on mine a few weeks ago and I done a search and found this info: Q#58:What’s the right way to install a tether kill switch? A#58:While some people run both wires of a tether kill switch to the coil, and this does work, it may cause damage to the CDI. The best way to wire a tether (or pushbutton) kill switch is to use the handlebar kill switch circuit. When the black/white wire on the handlebar kill switch is grounded, the CDI kills the motor. All you need to do is ground one of the tether wires to the frame (or splice it to the black wire for the handlebar kill switch), and splice (see Q#59) the other wire onto the black/white wire somewhere. Thats what I did and it works fine
  17. I got some directly from DG - juct call them up
  18. Raptor pegs bolt right on also and are wider then Blaster pegs. They are back about 2" to just like the Blaster pegs.
  19. Did you try new spark plugs? Check plug caps
  20. I've run Vito's SS pistons for 3-4years now and have not had any problems with the skirts breaking. I have 2 friends that run them with no problems also. Most people that talk bad about them have never run them and are going by hear-say. Take two identical bikes (not ported) - one with Vitos SS and one with regular pistons and the one with Vito's will walk all over the other one. Their not going to give the HP gain of a port job but they are a cheap alternative if you have to rebuild anyway
  21. Yes they are the same bolt pattern except the '89 & '90 rear Banshee wheels
  22. A distributer for Vito's told me they look a lot like CPIs (possibly a copy??). I've seen pictures of them but never on a bike.
  23. I updated it a few days ago now I it's not on there - I went through all the pages
