if they dont tighten then i would say replace em,while your there do the grease nipple mod on carrier,easy and effective to do,i filled mine up with teflon grease,i think it lasts longer than normal grease??? do a search for the mod if u dont know it,its here somewhere.........

sorry i modified that post,dont want to do it again so,when u use a fine toothed blade it melts the plastic,u must use a plastic cutting blade,trust me.

tip for cutting,i use an airsaw to cut mine,take care and dont push the blade,rather control it,only minimal forwards pressure,just let it cut itsself,use short bursts of power so u dont go outa control and keep a check where ur cuttin,if u use a normal sleel saw blade itl melt the plastic and stick itsself together again behind the blade and makes a mess,buy a proper plastic cuttin blade,u will make a far better cut.then i used a car body file,then 80 grit,120,240 600,800,looks original oh i forgot to say,yes it does make a small difference in speed,not top speed but especialy when the wind is front on shee seems to cut through and hold speed better.

i only had to make a little brackett for the fluid ressie,nothing else,plug n play! i try and get my scanner up an runnin next week ok.(oh sorry i forgot u just have to cut the cable thats for the brake switch and join it to the gsxr one,only 3 mins work)

na na na,the exact cause has been found,and by me,put 2 hose clamps on the choke tube between carbs(even put a very little bit of silicon gaskett sealer as well),also fill the choke puller cap with silicon based grease to keep wet out,works wonderfully,my shee lives outside and i ride every day,every weather ,and since i tried this i aint got anymore probs. seeya.

anyone find the stock brake pump a bit spongy and weak? i think standard is about 14mm pump,ive added a pump from a gsxr 750(or1100,not totally sure) and has 18mm,gives front brakes loads better bite and feel.try it,easy cheep mod,also has span adjuster for small/big hands.seeya.

yeh,sometimes it takes a lot of patience,ok,take the top off the brake fluid holder,top it up with fluid(never let it go below min)pump the lever 3-5 times(carefully cos ya dont want it all over the place) on the last pump hold the lever in,at same time open the bleed nipple then close it before you let the lever go,then pump another 3-5 times,hold it in,open nipple,close nipple,pump........... and so on. do this minimum 10-15 times each side,be carefull the fluid level doesnt go to low or ur back to square one!! paitience is the virtue.
