no the rear rims have a smaller bolt pattern to the front, but they are availible from douglas wheels (dont quote me on this but) in about 9/10 by 10,and tire choice of 195/40/10 and 225/45/10, 195s look killer! 225s is overkill, bad on the street cos ya need arms like arny schwartzenegger

hi there,im living in germany and have a few friends well into quads, the boom in quad sales over here has grown so big,in 2002 there were about 2000 quads/atvs registered for the street, and this year there was about 12000!but is a lack of cool quad/atv parts, now were gettin our heads together and openin a parts/accessories shop to feed the hungry demand.the cost of tuning and other parts is absolutly stupid over here(normally),we want to offer cool products at affordable prices,u guys in the states get all the best stuff! but we get to ride on the streets!!! were looking for manufacturers to contact us with details of there stuff, lets feed the hunger!

i cover my shee with wd-40 spray oil after i have washed her with s100 bike cleaner, makin sure to get behind the shitty welds!! the weather is gettin cold here and the spray helps keepin everything free and protected from the salt on the street.(think u guys get duck oil over there?) and dont shee shine after a coat!(not on plastics though).carefull after coatin with wd-40 cos there could be a fine "mist" of oil on ye brakes, either just take it easy on the gas till its burnt off or dont get any on em in first place! ive made a snowboard holder for her and a friends shee, so we can take em to the mountains in deep winter,

ok,got a good tip for ya,try bob farnham tuning or stan stevens in england, yes i know its over the other side the pond but they are the countrys most respected 350 (but tune everything) tuners,my rd 400 was stevens tuned stage 3 (before i bought it) and my old lc was stage 3 by farnhm, excellent power and relyability, give em a try.have decided to send me shees cylinders and head to stevens next year, cant wait!

Straight Cut Crank/clutch Drive?
streetshee replied to streetshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
realy!? ok hear goes, next week im gonna put new bearings in,and do the nipple mod,(u know, bore a hole in carrier so can pump it full of grease with a nipple, remove the inner seals). take the distance spacer inbetween the bearings and mill a spiral in it from the middle outwards to the left and the right, point being that the grease will be forced towards the bearings thus giving maximum lubrication and life. wickid eh? wattaya think now? this is definatly my idea now! if anyone allready makes it i kill em.! -
if its leaking shit, then its poo!

Straight Cut Crank/clutch Drive?
streetshee replied to streetshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
ok. -
just an idea that grabbed me by the short an curlys today about possible damage to crank bearings and pistons/bores when giving the shee more power, the reason being that the gear from crank to clutch drive is cut at an angle (spiral),that means that the crank is being pulled to the side because of the spiral gears, maybe not much, but there will be a lot of force outwards to the right and in from the left thus causing the rods to also be pulled at an angle and pistons too, maybe were only talking about 0.01 mm,now i thought of straight cut gears from crank to clutch, also get better power from straight cuts,(less friction). wattaya think????

yeh but if it was a car forum, there would also be lots of problems,if u dont want to be parranoid then steer clear of anything man makes!

Street Tires For Banshee For Racing At Dragstrip
streetshee replied to icemanscold's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
try goldspeed 225/40/10 and 165 /70/10,i think there also available in 9" for the rear but a bigger profile(225/60/9 i think) they have at least 2 different rubber compounds, the silver series which are harder, and normal very soft,im runnin soft on front for grip and hard rear for driftin! very good street tires.check em. -
i think u will allways have some fine dust in it,but if uve got "pieces" of metal on it then its not so good! keep the oil fresh, dont wait for it to look bad before u change, even the small dust(metal) runnin around in the box is not good fo the gears.my oil is allways very clean, the magnet works very well.

where the choke goes into the left carb, isnt there an o ring to seal it? maybe the seal needs replacing? since i hoseclamped my pipe tight havent had any more probs, seeya.
-
i made my own, find a kiddys toy shop or somewhere ya can get a magnet, bore a hole in the end of the drain plug, insert magnet with a little bit of strong resin or glue,(anyway the magnet sticks in the bolt without glue, but use some as a precautionary measure)finnished, mine cost me about 1 dolla. good luck.
-
its not true at all that sheel breakdown after an hour in top gear, and also totaly wrong that should only ride off road, depends on yer set up,if u got off road tires then shees better off road, lower her,add some 225/40/10 and 165/70/10 wheels n tires and shees a killer on the street. see ya.
