  1. Before my engine blew up I had over 600 miles of riding on the top end. Still had 120psi on the right cylinder. During this rebuild I'm replacing alot of things that should have been replaced a long time ago by the previous owner. But I know that when I'm done the shee is basically gonna be more reliable than a Banshee rolled off the dealer lot.
  2. Shelby I'm guessin' your mom never taught you that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I never thought your wife was very attractive from the neck up but this is the first time I've ever pointed that out. I give props to any girl willing to post pics of herself on a forum like this...takes guts.
  3. I was thinking baby oil wrestling would be more interesting
  4. I've got a clutch and new crank coming and would like to start rebuilding my engine but I'm still trying to find some undamaged cases. Anyone?
  5. congrats man!
  6. Kinda a repost but here's yfzdunegirl from the other night in chat:
  7. For all who missed it...oh and brooke have at it!
  8. Or start nailing some screen shots or save some pics! 284188[/snapback] Got ya guys covered this time around. I managed to snap a pic at one point so I'll have to post it after I get home from work.
  9. I don't get why this thread is such an issue with so many people. We have threads devoted to girls on shees, just plain internet girls, and f'n camel toes of all things! I think its perfectly acceptable that people raise the question as to which of the 4 girls on the HQ is the hottest. Either y'all seen that roast beef toe pic and turned gay, or y'all trying to get suck up points from the girls in question. Either way...if you don't like it, don't post! Spend the time saved trying to figure out what happened to your balls.
  10. YFZ has had lots of wine and Brooke is shouting encouragement oh and you'll need yahoo messenger to see it
  11. Got the crank and clutch taken care of...still need engine cases though.
  12. I'd like to see a shee engine in a yfz frame!
  13. Um...trade you a slightly used credit card for the frame.
  14. nope, i said my shee is 'broke dick'. Never heard that saying before? I dunno...there's just certain names that are gender specific. Wouldn't really work calling a girl a dick.
  15. Ooo I touched a nerve... I'll be at Glamis actually and since my shee is broke dick, the only thing I have is a yfz. No matter, I don't go to drags to race...strictly a spectator.
  16. I've got a yfz 450 also and I'd prefer it for tight, technical trails. But in sand it just doesn't bring a smile to my face like the shee can - it aint the speed either cuz my yfz is faster than my shee.
  17. I blame metrosexuality
  18. LT is pretty impressive, but you have to be able to justify the cost involved. If your racing as a hobby then its difficult to throw down $2500 for a front end. If your racing to keep food on the table, well then any competive edge is a good investment. Aftermarket a-arms hold their value fairly well so you could always get a +1 or +2 setup now with some good Axis, Elkas, Peps or TCS and then later on down the road if you still need more of an edge, sell them and upgrade to LT.
  19. No, TCS just has remotes. I kinda like the look better of piggyback but I wanna throw my money into performance, not aesthetics. I'm not saying that Elka's suck or that they're even inferior to TCS. I too have heard great things about the customer service from both companies. I had the chance to ride 2 very nice machines, one with Elkas, the other TCS. I don't know how much testing either owner did to set their shocks up. On my test ride, I felt that the TCS felt better over the entire range of what I threw at it. Now granted, I didn't jump either machine so who knows? But I did try to purposely hit some hard spots just to see what the shocks would feel like. The Elkas soaked it all up like a champ. I barely felt a thing. The TCS...well I had to watch the tires to tell if I even hit anything.
  20. Gearing really depends on what kind of riding you wanna do. I've got pipes/filters and timing advance and I actually prefer 13/41 in the sand. Then again, I'm not really keen on going 60+mph everywhere. Clutch-wise I really hope there isn't a difference. I just bought an uh...think a 2000 clutch for my 87. I'm 99.9% sure that its all the same. I think the only difference between your 98 and a bike on the showroom floor is that the new bikes have brake lights.
  21. All very good points. If you have any questions about some of the products listed here or if you see some mod and wanna know more about it, try the search function at the top of the page. We're usually discussing new banshee products about 3 months before they even finish R&D.
  22. Ya you can. There's a misson where you gotta steal it and run over a bunch of people too.
  23. I second PRM. Take a look at the construction of AC - the welds are so shitty I would never buy one. PRM makes some quality stuff. I've got their swingarm skid and baja bumper. PRM banshee products
