  1. Hahahaha! Nice man...real nice. In my house, 'Lasered' is a household name. I'll see what I can do about the fresh pics eh? Although wait a sec...nevermind, yfzdunegirl isn't even in the runnning. BTW...shouldn't this thread be a poll?
  2. Fock me, Pismo would be retarded busy on t-day. Why don't you make the drive down to Glamis? At least Glamis can handle the crowds. Gecko drags everyday at 3pm - should be another record year!
  3. Ya wireless is definately the way to go. It'll probably cost you $100 to go wireless but its so much easier and you'll thank yourself down the road. You could even offset the cost by giving your neighbors access to your web and charging them some money.
  4. Ya mad props to Stan. I'm not even into billet (well not until everything else is done) and I'm still tempted to order something from him. My problem is if I order one billet part then its gonna stand out bigtime and make the rest of the bike really an eyesore. So Stan...I guess I'll take one of everything! BTW stan, your website is freaking out on me whenever I try to find out how much your sweet ass grab bars are. I'm talking about the one DUNEDEMON is using with the lights built into it. I was wondering if I sent you some LED's could you cut the grab bar to accomodate them?
  5. I thought it was required viewing for any boy wanting to be a man. Kinda like a Bah Mitzvah but for the entire male population.
  6. Also I just found out that I can probably supply a whole team of nurses. My wife's in school but will have graduated by then. I can think of at least 2 girls from her class that would bend over backwards for the opportunity to come on this trip. And yes, they're single!
  7. Matt, but most people just call me dickhead.
  8. Between Elkas and TCS I thought the TCS felt ALOT smoother. TCS is $750 and you cannot feel a damn thing...thought maybe I was doing a wheelie. Elkas are $850 and they're nice, but I can still feel that my tires are on bumpy terrain. Works...uh well they're better than stock.
  9. Quick! Somebody grab him while I change his homepage!!!
  10. Basically make 2 flanges out of some flat stock...piece of cake. Get some tubing, notch it so that the ends match up nice. Cut the engine side at the correct angle so that the carb sits level when attached to the engine. Weld the whole assembly together. Attach carb with rubber boot. Easy...thank god I'm better at welding than I am at photoshop:
  11. Count me in. I've got a 14 foot enclosed and can pick up people anywhere inbetween Orange County and the border for the ride down. Once there I'm down for whatever is needed. I'll ride, pit, chase, fetch water, milk a cow...I'm such an easy slut. For riders why don't we schedule some prelims in different spots around the country, preferably with a baja type of setting. I know just about every riding spot in So Cal is nearly identical to Baja. Anybody who's interested needs to show up. Try to make it as even as possible: same machine and same course for each rider. The guys with the best times advance. I'm sure we'll all need to spend some money on this endeavor. But with a large enough group I'm sure we could manage small donations from everyone. If needed I could kick $100 to the party, not including beer. For the bike plan on every piece breaking twice, and having about 15 minutes to fix it right. We need a couple complete engines, frames, brakes, bars, levers, shocks, swingarms, a arms, bearings, etc. I could prolly get ahold of a gas-powered welder...might come in handy. Everybody chasing needs to know a shee backwards and forwards and be able to rebuild one in record time. Riders need to be guys that love to abuse themselves on their machines. If your typical riding weekend consists of 50 miles that ain't gonna cut it. Even I get pretty worn out on some of my 80 mile days.
  12. Nyuk you have a pm...
  13. My bike is mostly stock too and I prefer the feel of dropping a tooth on the front sprocket. If top gear scares ya then you definately won't miss having the extra mph's.
  14. You'd have much better luck with pics and an idea of how much you wanna get. Also location helps quite a bit as well...
  15. The line starts behind me!
  16. You can't just buy a title from somebody. The title has the frame number as well as the engine # on it. If you know the name of the person it was last registered to then I think you can get a title fairly easily. I'm not sure on the specifics but its something like 2 years not reported stolen and you know the previous registered owner than you can get a title in your name. The other option would be to buy a frame with a title for about $400 or so off ebay and swap everything over to that frame.
  17. I'll move up to bearings after I get the a arms goin...I go through bushings so fast with the j arms that swapping over now would just be a waste of money.
  18. I never liked the look of Trinity's. I wanted to copy Graydon's 2:1. Basically its 2 flanges for the intake side, and then 3 pieces of pipe welded into a 'Y' shape.
  19. I sandblasted mine and painted it with some spray paint (engine enamel to be precise). That was this past February and its still holding up great, not a single chip.
  20. Sweet, I've been thinking about doing the same thing. 40mm sounds awfully big though...try it and if your bottom end feels sluggish you may wanna drop down to a 35mm or so.
  21. My engine is fried and I don't have the money to replace everything at once. So I'm gonna be buying this stuff over the next weeks/months. Everything I'm looking for needs to be in new or like-new condition. Here's the list in the order I'll be purchasing: top and bottom cases crank complete clutch assembly 200w stator billet water pump complete gasket kit piston kit (probably .030 over) head stator cover delrin a-arm bushing set pro design shifter new chain/sprockets a-arm frame + upper a-arms
  22. I posted pics of the damage HERE
  23. Think I was busy yesterday? Look what me and the wifey did today: That's what I said to my wife! Mmm...stroker
  24. Looks like the ring caught on the exhaust port. The top of the piston is missing a piece, one ring is in 3 pieces and fell off in my hands, the other ring is nowhere to be found, head is nicked to hell... So what do you think the odds are that the missing ring got expelled out the exhaust? Time to split the cases...thank god for beer!
  25. It was definately time for a rebuild but I WAS gonna wait until after Turkey Day. Turns out of got 120 psi on the right, and a big fat zero on the left. I took a look down the plug hole with a mirror and the top of the piston looked normal. Oh well...at least I've got a couple weeks to get it done. I'm just hoping the damage inside isn't too bad.
