  1. Call it religious influence on society if you want, but somehow I'm able to make good decisions and be a good person even though I don't have a book telling me how to do it or a carrot known as heaven dangling in front of me.
  2. Black will never look weird or out of place. I say go with black on everything.
  3. Oh yeah and as an added bonus, nobody wants to ride ur bike once they find out its a twisty
  4. Naw... I grew up on dirt bikes so a thumb throttle was torture for me. I've been riding a twist on my shee now for uh...2.5 years and haven't had a single instance where I lost control and gassed it. And I don't ride like a grandma either, my CRUISING speed thru the dunes is usally about 30-35mph, 50 or faster in the bowls. I try to tear it up on the trails whenever I ride those as well. I'm not trying to gloat, just saying that a twist throttle isn't suicide for everybody.
  5. Oh crap your only supposed to give money? I thought it was like one of those need a penny, take a penny kinda things. I'm not saying all churches are bad man, but as a whole, I think religion would be alot better off if it wasn't a source of wealth and power (anywhere).
  6. http://rockymountainatv.com/productDetail....18&navType=type Any 90mm spring should work. Blasters, LT's and 250r's all use the same spring. Oh and so does a 02-06 CR80/85, as well as a 86-01 CR500
  7. Couldn't they do that on their own? Why just Sunday even? I say the best place for a church is your own home. Name your denomination and I can find a church of theirs that's built on million dollar property, has extravagence that rivals some mansions, and overlooks the ocean. If you must have a church, build something humble or use a school.
  8. Hit that 2x today man!
  9. Terry Cable makes a really nice looking stainless braided line for WAY too much money. Problem is its a piece of shit. Mine came too long and the pull is incredibly stiff. Just stick with Motion Pro. Yes you can wire brush a plug to re-use it. No I don't recomend doing that.
  10. If your filter is wet with gas its reeds. Period.
  11. Don't forget that f'n steering stop!
  12. Hey Matt, I agree with you 100% but BD asked how he got here, not how is religion a bad thing. Personally I see nothing wrong with believing in a god, I just can't stand ORGANIZED religion.
  13. A buddy of mine was convinced that he could clean out the carbon with some carb cleaner and a lighter. It was pretty entertaining as those things popped and shot flames out both sides, actually continued for several minutes. But the carbon stayed.
  14. Might as well...got just as much chance of me answering em as opposed to any diety.
  15. As a general rule, stock suspension isn't all that great. Add into that the fact that the shee hasn't had a new shock design since 1987 when it was introduced. Technology has come a long way since then plus manufacturers have realized that its worth spending a little extra on some semi-decent suspension. Shocks are an easy bolt on mod. Kinda pricey but even the cheapest aftermarket shock (probably Works) is still gonna be 2x better than the best production shock. No matter what kinda quad you get, a suspension upgrade should be fairly high on the priority list. Unfortunately that's not all there is to it tho. As you cruise around the atv world looking at different suspension setups you're bound to come across "long travel". Basically, this is a longer shock with the same ride height. The longer the shock is, the better you can dial it in to your riding style and the less the shock has to "work". (I'm trying to keep this really simple). The banshee hits a snag here. Basically the frame geometry is retarded so if you try to put long travel on you run into an issue called "bump steer" - that is, on hard suspension hits the wheels will get yanked to the side by the tie rods. Just about every designer of long travel banshee setups claim that their system VIRTUALLY eliminates bump steer, but realistically its prolly not gonna happen without some kind of complex steering linkage.
  16. I was just about to suggest posting it in the wanted section. Lots of peeps try the twist, but only us real men keep with it. Trick is to have rigid wrists
  17. When they strip, you went too far. Harbor Freight sells torque wrenches for like $6. Go buy one.
  18. As long as the pipes don't have any dents its fine. They'll have some carbon buildup inside which technically will affect performance a little but you'll get that after riding on a new set of pipes for awhile.
  19. Dude you should name ur banshee Christine!
  20. Clarke makes a slightly better looking one than the IMS (LINK) If you ride with a bunch of 4 strokes or are going long distances for exploring or something then its definately an option. If you just wanna get one cuz you don't wanna fill up everytime you get back to camp then I dunno that I'd recomend it. They're pretty bulky and some have clearance issues with certain handlebars and steering stems. Aside from that, that's alot of extra weight to be hauling around which is going to affect your dragging, jumping, and handling.
  21. Interesting...I did not know that.
  22. What really cracks me up about Hollywood is this: The whole entertainment industry is a direct descendant of court jesters, village idiots, etc...basically people who humored the powerful with their wacky antics. They were accepted, even sought as it was pretty cool to be a king with the best jester in the land. But really, they were just people to laugh at and make fun of. Fast-forward to present day. We idolize these idiots - basing our wardrobe, hairstyles, physique, even emotional well-being on what the current hot actor/actress/singer is doing. When the hell did that happen??? Can you imagine a bunch of knights tromping around in colorful hats juggling and running into things intentionally because that's what their favorite entertainer was doing at the previous evening's banquet? I say we stop looking to a bunch of carnies for guidance.
  23. Hmm...I've got a Banshee, a YFZ, and a CR... So Stan you busy later?
  24. I agree with what some people have said. Right or wrong doesn't enter into it. Do whatever you want but don't force shit onto other people. I feel that way about every opinion, whether its homosexuality, politics, or even religion. Granted its a movie and can easily be skipped by those totally uninterested in the theme, but selling it as this huge hit that everybody should see? Please! I for one hope the move tanks. Not cuz I'm against people being gay, but because its retarded how hard hollywood is trying to sell this movie. Felt the same way about Passion of the Christ. Sell it all you want, I'm still bored as fuck with the idea of watching it.
  25. Ya Roll Design is top notch shit. I'd jump all over that badboy! Any idea what length it is?
