  1. Like I was saying, that 61.2 was on the downswing of the graph, not at the peak. Because the clutch was slipping the reading stopped halfway into the powerband and then popped back on after the peak. I'd guess that if the clutch had held I'd have made 65 easy, and prolly closer to 67 or so.
  2. Welp...Just got back from the dyno and I'm just a tad disappointed. Not in the HP though. Like I said I just wanted to pull at least 60. I ended up pulling 61.2 HP w/ 35.8 ft lbs but...I was having major issues with my clutch slipping so I actually made more than that. Dunno how much exactly but the dyno read in the low 60 range on several passes as the curve came back down (graph would go blank as the clutch spun). So uh...apparently a Dirt Digger clutch w/ 3 HD springs ain't gonna cut it. Oh well, back into the engine. Oh and I ended up w/ a 68 pilot and 195 main, CGK needle on the 3rd position, air screw 2.5 turns out. Not too shabby for a single carb eh? edit: Shit I just noticed how close I was on my estimate! Whoop whoop!!
  3. Sheesh...bustin my balls Stan. Okay 62HP and 35 ft lbs.
  4. (and a blowjob) For me I'd like some A-arms, TCS shocks, swingarm, rear shock. Ah oh well...at least I get to go to the dyno today.
  5. I'm 210 lbs and I love mine. I never really noticed the revs dropping off cuz I tend to use the clutch for riding and not just shifting. Maybe its one of those mods geared towards a specific riding style? I dunno....
  6. ...and another thing. Why'd that post that punkvixen started calling Brooke a crazy bitch get deleted? I could see it being moved to the roosting room, but deleted? How gay is this site...sorry, "cite" gonna get? There was some good shit in there. Granted, punkvixen looked like a fucking crazy illiterate, but that's always good for some laughs!
  7. Fuck me sideways! Have you guys sent your applications in to Springer yet??? As funny as punkvixen is, I'm getting kinda bored with her (you can only laugh at retards and crazy people for so long...). What I can't figure out is what would posess a guy to stay with the nut job? Dude I dunno if you feel sorry for her or what but give up the charity work - it ain't worth it! Trust me I know. I dated a crazy chick once (although yours' is in a whole different league!) Great sex, smoking hot body, but first time she got mad and threw a dish at me I walked. She'll get over it, or maybe she won't. But dude you gotta take care of yourself first, and believe me you don't wanna marry that headache!
  8. Wouldn't be too bad if u did the prep work urself...but ur talking about a week's worth of work for prep.
  9. Ya 1 crazy person is enough for you to deal with.
  10. Glad you came to your senses...welcome (back?) to the HQ!
  11. Good mod, regardless of your terrain.
  12. Wasn't planning on it...but ya I'll leave it on Thursday night if you want. What kinda hour u planning on getting there...cuz my azz will be
  13. Ah man I can't believe I missed this drama! I had to check it out after reading punk's other thread. Ok now I'm set with my beer and popcorn...you may proceed.
  14. Naw it'll run em both. When I bought my shee it had 2 55w lights. I replaced the bulbs with some 35w's and it made it nice n' bright.
  15. Well I'm going tomorrow so I'll toss in my own guess (I want that fork!). 62HP, 205 main, 65 pilot
  16. Watkins you're welcome to camp with me. I dunno who from my group is going yet.
  17. Just put the seat back on before you ride next time and that won't be a problem. Welcome to the HQ!
  18. Yeah it'll definately improve the bottom end. You might lose a little on top but it won't be much. Changing the main is about a 2 min job. Just loosen the clamp, rotate the carb. Use a 17mm on the nut, a 6mm on the jet, put it back together and ur done. Don't even have to pull the carb or filter off the bike.
  19. Cool man. I'm actually thinking about heading out there on Wednesday or maybe Thursday. When you getting there?
  20. black is the ground, yellow is for the high beam position, green is for low beam position. Personally I prefer to have the lights on in the high beam position. To do this, connect the ground on the lights to the black wire, and the yellow wires to the positive on the lights.
  21. Ah crap ur right...I think I had 65mm in there. Damn I knew I should've written that down. Okay so like 385 cc's. And uh, 155/45 with a single carb? Man have some faith in my builder's porting.
  22. Ok from our conversation in chat...you gotta bunch of wires cut from the switch. Here's what they connect to: FROM SWITCH: ( ---> means "connects to") Yellow/Red--->yellow from voltage regulator (small square metal thing under the seat in the very back, next to the taillight - look up from underneath). Regulator has a blue wire coming out of it, which meets up with a yellow wire coming from the stator. Then both of these connect to this one from the switch. Blue--->blue that goes to the tailight Yellow--->yellow going to headlight plugs On the headlight plugs, you should have green, yellow, and black for each. Connect your lights to the yellow (+) and black (ground). That should do it.
  23. You really sure you want to keep the j-arms? They go through bushings like crazy and are less safe than a arms.
