  2. Don't worry about me. I'll be alright.. :ninja:
  3. You carry Mase? Like the singer's cd or what? lol. I think you mean in your bright pink fanny pack. If you meant Mace you can't even get that stuff anymore. It would have to be pepper spray like the bitches carry. Think you summed yourself up. HAHA
  4. You weren't supposed to tell him. We were just going to take him on a longgggg ride.. haha
  5. I am no rookie to Glamis. Gecko is not the place to be. It may be easy for you guys to have your trailers dropped and your quads dropped off, but for daily activity is sucks. Yeah US West coat guys gotta stick together! lol
  6. I will be camping at that washes, along with quite a few other people. You can come by and visit. I'm sure we'll do that same.
  7. That one never gets old! lol
  8. I have a set of 4, 38x15.50R18 Nitto Mud Grapplers. Tires have about 9K miles on them. Two are in great shape with approx half the tread left. The other 2 have the same amount of miles but are worn due to alignment. I will not sell the tires seperate. Local pickup only, or if your headed to Glamis for presidents day I can bring them with me. 400 obo
  9. HAHA.. Thats pretty good!!
  10. Damn that was fast. Good Idea Dave. Thanks Loco
  11. Last time I went to Glamis my truck was hit by a drunk driver, and he took off. Before I could get to him my friends already had him pulled out of his truck and he was laying on the ground with a broken nose. The rangers came, towed his truck, checked my knuckles and told me "off the record good job, but on the record you can't just beat him down like that" He just took my name and said have a good night. I think this camp is going to be big enough that we shouldn't have to worry about theft to much, but I advise everyone taking trailers to leave your fuel cans inside them, or bring big cable locks to lock up your bikes, gas cans and everything else at night. Let's all hope nobody has anything stolen, nobody gets hurt, and that we all have a blast. Looking forward to meeting all of you guys and putting faces to names.
  12. I can drag the bottom portion of the hill.. but I wont be climbin it much. I got stock tires, you got 33s, whats the issue? lol
  13. Sure I will pick you up Pablo, but I don't think I could get your bike in my trailer with my two bikes. I'm heading out the 12th and coming home the 16th. You going to be able to get that many days off?
  14. Last I checked were all going to camp in the middle of the dezert pretty much. Riding in dirt/sand mix. Who's worried about dust? lol. If you carry hand help GPS why is it so hard to find your camp at tha washes? Just curious.
  15. These pipes are basically brand new.. BUMP!
  16. Bump for a good guy!
  17. I second camping around the washes. It's closer to everything but the evening sand drags or "showcase" as I like to call it. Gecko will be way to over crowded that weekend.
  18. In CA it is illegal to cover the vin number with powdercoat. They considering it altering the VIN. Same thing with a self stamp. If you can stamp it and find a cop who doesn't really pay attention you can get away with it. My local officers are dick heads. What my local powder guy does is he covers the VIN with a piece of tape before PC. That way if you ever run into a dick cop you can start to scrap with a knife hit the tape and it peels off in a nice block, then when you you get home you can mask it off and spray clear spray paint over it so it doesn't rust. My local VIN officer went out and was inspecting my VIN with a magnifying glass. My frame had it second coat of PC and the VIN was almost sand blasted off. He had some dye that showed the density change in the metal and verified enough numbers to give me a VIN sticker they placed on the subframe. Re stamping you own numbers is a risk, but you got to do what you got to do. If no VIN can be found, they take the bike and thats it. Sucks, but what can we do.
  19. I thought we were talking about inframes. Guess Shayne answered for OOF's
  20. Hill or not, hands down the BB worked better for my 485. The small bores choked my motor down big time. Considering the bore on the 535 and the 485 are both 73 I think the big bore is a better option. Everyone is entitled to there own opinions, but I can tell you from experience with the 485 BB is your better option. My cylinders were also drag ported by LC performance. Porting will also play a roll in which pipe you choose to go with. Talk to your builder to see what he recommends. I don't run a track to give you an time slips, but I can tell you I went from getting beat by 7 bike length with small bores, too being right next to the same bike with big bores. Approx 400ft races.
  21. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANS...A1%7C240%3A1318
  22. I have a 485 cheetah. You def want Big Bore. Huge difference when i went from small bore to big bore pipes!
  23. Greg I thought you were at 4 on the plate? I think you need to ditch that Dyna as Dave said. Put some .120 in the carbs with the timing around 7-8. My bike didnt really wake up until I put 10 degrees of timing in it. With your bike running the way it did on its last outing. I really think you have ignition problems. Especially since it wouldn't start with the stock CDI.
  24. Thats some funny shit right there.. LOL
