  1. Minkia, I would say depending on if it is vision or not, and what mods you have on gun (which I cant tell from the red X's) you got $800-900 plus some if it has vision, and some more depending on mods.
  2. I was surfing the web and came across some dye made for your coolant. I was thinking to myself, a glow in the dark dye would look bada$$... So I started my search out and was unable to find anything.. So what do you all think? Is there such thing as a glow in the dark dye? If there is, is it safe to put in your radiator? THe reason I ask this is because in order for it to glow, it obviously has some type of chemical, and that makes me wonder if having that chemical running through your engine and all that good stuff would be a good idea or no.. Lets hear what you think.
  3. Frame is now up for sale in the for sale section.. Or click here...
  4. I had mine taken out at 17. Best part is when they tell you to just take deep breathes and then your like, wow...im done. Or if you start coming too during the operation.. Thats kinda funny. I wasnt in pain so I drove up north and played paintball all weekend. That was a good idea until my friend accidently hit me in the jaw with his elbow going for the front seat. But thats ok, because now he doesnt need to have any teeth removed Take a picture of your gerbal cheeks and post em!
  5. 2000 Yamaha Banshee frame Comes with papers and bill of sale Frame is straight and true, the picture below is it un-cleaned. The frame will be cleaned up well prior to shipping.
  6. I work at UPS... But I thought frames weighed about 75 lbs. (no?) And I figured since they are huge, it would go as OS1, and going in a box that is about 75x20x20 (not sure of dimensions) it would run apprx. $120 if i were to ship it to the west coast, and no less then $100 going to Chicago. so....HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU SHIP IT FOR $39???? Seriously... It boggles my mind.
  7. how do you ship for so cheap??
  8. Do all of those prices include shipping?? Or no..
  9. I found a frame for sale that I might buy because its a good price.. So here is a picture, tell me what you think it is worth, or if you need a frame, how much you would pay for it.. Its off of a 2001 and is straight and true.
  10. Been riding trails in the woods, occasionally finding some nice sand spots along the trails where i can stop and mess around for a few hours. This summer silver lake is calling my name...
  11. anyone?
  12. just a note... might not be your problem, but make sure you dont have some kind of mail filter set. I had the same thing happen to me and i recieved my product on time, but with no acknowledgement (wow thats hard to spell). Soon I found out that my mail filters were on and that his email was in a little bin and he sent me like 10. Also he could have mail filters, which would be dumb since he is the seller... But just trying to give you some hope. People with high feedback tend to finish the deal because you can get into some big troubles with ebay, but in my oppinion its either the guy is out of town (stupid) or something is wrong on the communication.. my 2 cents.
  13. I'm looking for a banshee, doesnt matter what year, or if it runs. Dont want one with any major missing parts... Like an engine. Price must be below $2000. If the price is right, location doesnt matter, but the closer to $2000 you get, the closer to michigan you need to be. If you know of any shee for sale that meets that criteria please PM me and let me know some information on it, or where to get the information. Thanks, DP
  14. .....please tell me you dont normally act like that.
  15. lol. Mad props to ya, mad props... Whats your phone number, I may need it next time im stuck....
  16. Damn blacksmith... Do you have experiance with mud riding or what?? Full of good ideas... Lets test ya here =) Say you are riding, all alone and get stuck in the mud with no tree's around, your axle is burried down past the chain and your front A-arms as well. The position of the banshee is slightly sideways, maybe 30 degrees of center. You have 30 feet of rope, and no one to help... What do you do.
  17. sorry for such fast posts... but after reading that through about 10 times to understand what your saying, i think i figured it out..... Not to mention it sounds like a good idea Thanks, i will go get stuck in some snow tomarrow and see how it works out
  18. That just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen...... I would bet money that I couldnt do that right, and when i tried I would probably mess up my quad in the process...
  19. ouch..
  20. I dont just go riding in the mud, but the closest ORV trails to my house are about an hour, and the closest to them is like another hour...so I go there alot and the most part of the trails are elevated and dry, but there are wet spots with deep mud that takes up half my day just trying to getout.. So you dont think it will fit in frame?
  21. Hey guys, I might get some trash talking done to me for this one because Banshee's arent utility or anything. But I was wondering if it is possible to mount a winch in the frame right behind the bumper?? Has anyone ever tried this? I do alot of riding in the mud and when I get stuck its one large pain in the ass having to spend an hour trying to remove the suction (sp?) to get that beast out... Let me know.
  22. Anyone got one laying around??? I custom cut my thumb throttle cable and would like one that is a better fit. let me know.
  23. Totally on that Alba racing banshee.. I've been to that site alot and had it in my mind that if I ever get enough money to buy a brand new shee, I will get one from them.. For the SAME price as my local dealer charges they include.. correct me if im wrong, but graphics w/ matching seat cover, k&n, aftermarket pipes of choice, some aftermarket handle bars and jetted in to fit the needs... Which to me is what yamaha SHOULD do, but hell... the world is filled with bullshit politics, and if it werent for politics we would probably all have gotten that higher promotion, or that better job that the boss's friends son wanted... Then we would all have whatever the hell we wanted on our banshee's because all of the hard working individuals on BansheeHQ would be making what we diserve Sorry on my little carry on witht hat.. got a little off topic. =)
  24. I'm lovin the story man.. lovin it. I totally see what your saying, But whats the difference between adding mods to a shee, and buying something that comes STOCK with so much more power that can still be upgraded; a crotch rocket for instance... There are things out there that have alot more power then a shee, and you dont see those companies tuning them down for the sales so that aftermarkets can be added to liven it back up.. Just a thought.. I think it could go either way
  25. SUCCESS!!! I didnt get to all these replies until after I fixed my problem, but thanks for the input guys. What I did : I hooked the TORS up, instead of removing it because it never hurt me in the past.. I'm sure I could have removed it but I wasnt having troubles before I disconnected it so I figured what the heck... Also my overreving was because my throttle cable was slightly tightened.. The twist throttle didnt come with a cable made for it, so I cut back the cable made for a thumb throttle so it would work with it. Unfortunatly I cut it back about 1/4 inch too far, so I just moved the bolt out further to compensate. While looking into the carb they appeared to be down all the way, but after adjusting that bolt so that it could go down even more, i noticed i decreased the opening by at least 50%... I was really suprised that it idled THAT high with just an opening that much bigger. I mean we are talking it sounded like FULL throttle because the opening in the carb was about 1/8 of an inch instead of 1/16.... So thanks for the help, but I still dont know what exactly caused the on off and the key not to work... But whatever it was, plugging the TORS in fixed my problem, so I'm not complaining.
