I have never taken my banshee to the drags yet but I have been think of going on a test and tune night. The ? I have is if my gearing will be enough, I have plenty of sprokets all the way from a 13 to a 17 and 39 to a 41, at the moment I have the 17/39 on my bike from the last race I did in Joplin it was a 1/2 mile oval. The last time I had my bike on the dyno it pulled 70hp with a slipping clutch and 40 ft. lbs of torque so what kind of times and speeds should I be looking for? Oh by the way the drags are on asphalt not dirt. If anybody has any info or suggestions for me let me know.

The cpi's are a real good pipe for Jim's stroker motor, my motor pulls so hard from idle to the rev limiter. It will pick the front end off the ground before it even gets on the pipe . Jim and I are taking my bike to the dyno as soon as I get some time to test about 3 or 4 different pipes, when we get that done there will something posted about the results.

I used to go by Airshow60 because I fly a Blackhawk (UH-60) helicopter in the army, so I found out that airshow was taken in just about everything so I went with proquad101. I dont think I need to explain the proquad101 (look at pics of my bike)

Yes the 3+1 means 3 inches wider on each side and 1 inch forward. The only bad thing about using +3 a-arms os that it will give you bad arm pump if you have the wide off-set rims on the front. The way around getting the arm pump is to get some I think it is -2/+4 rims for the front, it will get the center of your wheel over the ball joint and will be easier to turn. I don't remeber who shortens swing-arms but I think that there is a couple of guys on HQ that shorten swing-arms.

I forgot about the a-arms I use lone star +3/+1 a-arms.

I'm not sure what 65kg is but I weigh about 180 lbs and I use the afco dual rate #2 front shock with a 120 lbs. spring. I would suggest getting about a 140-150 lbs spring if you weigh close to my weight. I also use the afco atv/tt rear shock with a -3.5 lone star direct link shock set-up. My rear spring is 350 lbs. If you can, get a couple sets of springs for the different tracks. I take about 3 or 4 sets of springs for the front and the rear shocks along with a couple sets of different shocks to the races.

Yea, get me all the info that you can. I raced the 1/2 mile at Joplin and used a 17/39, I probley could have used a 38.

I have used my gps on a1/4 mile track and the top speed was in the mid 70's, but the fastest I have ever gone is about 180 knots in a blackhawk.

Does anybody know anything about a race at Springfield on the 8th of Aug? If anybody has any info please let me know.

Sorry I can't make the race this weekend, I had hernia surgery this morning. I'm not allowed to get out of bed this weekend. I would love to be there, I think there is a race springfeild on the 8th or 9th of Aug. If I can more info on that race I will post it.

sredish I just spent 2 weeks in dallas going to a helicopter school, man i know what you are talking about. I met a 38 year old there, she gave me awhole new respect for texas. Ben the hernia is a result of both the new girl and the old.

tats I hate to hear about your troubles, me and my wife are getting divorced also. She moved out and bought her own house about 3 miles away from my house. But you know what now that she is gone I say it's party time . I had a chick at the house the other night and my wife showed up at my house drunk trying to start some shit, so I had to throw her out of my house now I have to have hernia surgery on friday. It looks real to me. The only thing I have to say about it is I had a mustang like that and I have a pissed off banshee and I dont think either one of those guys drive very well. They both are short shifting and the mustang doesn't even spin the tires. I say if you are going to race learn to drive.

word. mine's an 86 and its never been rebuilt. it still starts cold on a winter day and runs pretty ok. anyone want to buy it for a restoration project. The first bike I had was a moto 4 80, I raced the wheels off of it, well I thought I did. I think mine was a 85 or 86. I bought it brand new and went straight to the mx track with it, it beat the hell out of me. I mx on it for awhile then bought some hoosiers and started flattracking it.

I have been running cpi's with my passion motor for awhile now. I think my bike motor has enough grunt all the way around to run mx. I put it on a dyno and it pulled 40ft lbs. of torque with a slipping clutch. I would put my motor up against any motor out ther for mx of flattrack. Oh yea it pulled 70hp with a bad clutch. After I get my clutch fixed me and Jim are taking abunch of pipes and my bike to the dyno, so stay tuned for results.

I have the same swaybar. Where do you have it mounted on the frame?
