  1. I know this is supposed to go in the for sale forum but I thought a flattrack might be more interested. I have a -2 and a -4 swingarm for sale. I will take $75 for each. They both are set-up for a no-link shock so if you buy one I will send you a mount to weld on the swingarm when you get it. The no-link set-up will have you hook-up better. If interested send me a pm. Thanks
  2. Have you tried a 72 main jet yet? I run 50 pilot jet in my banshee. You say you are just riding in dirt and pasture's so why do you have a +4 swingarm? If you still have your stock swingarm put it back on and put a 16/40 and leave your gearing alone for now.
  3. Last week I got my new 39 tooth sprocket I ordered from tats4life. This thing looks sweet. All I ordered was a 39 tooth but he said he can make 38 for the banshee and down to a 32 for a honda. He can also get a up to a 17 for the front and is working on a 19. I just wanted everybody to know a good place to get there sprockets.
  4. Got1, Man first of all your motor is the design I helped Jim set-up and is one fast sob. Number one thing is get some better pipes, and yes the v-force reeds will make alot of difference. I dont live that far from you and I run a 172 main jet and it is perfect. Have you done anything to your airbox, the motor has to flow. I have totally cut my airbox out, all I have is the front where the noss adapter holds the k&n. What does your plug look like? If your bike is running lean with that main jet you have in it you might have an airleak somewhere. Check your boost bottle if you have one I have had the rubber gromet blow out and cause my bike lean out. I threw that piece of shit in the trash. What kind of tires are you using, because if you still have stock tires they suck. You've got one bad-ass motor you just need to figure out what is not set right on it, trust me if you get it dialed in you will smoke all your buddies and there piped banshee's. Let me know if I can help. I know it is frustrating to get a bike dialed in , it has taken me awhile to get this set where it is today. Don't worry about your gearing right now you need to get your motor right before you get your gearing right, just put like a 16/40 on it and leave it until we get the motor right.
  5. You have 6 springs in your clutch. If you take out everyother one of the stock springs and replace them with the fzr600 springs it will distribute the prssure evenly.
  6. my fly wheel is also shaved. If you put the 3 springs in it I think you will be happy.
  7. I like to run the american race 38. I will sipe the tires. You can goove it after a few races.
  8. Oh by the way I might be selling my -4 and a -2 swingarms if anybody is interested. THe only thing is the stock mounts have been cut off so I can run the no-link shock. If you are interested let me know.
  9. A -4 is the only way to get a banshee to hook up like a yfz or a 250r on the dry slick tracks. You have to run about 10psi in your rear tires to keep from hooking up to much. But when you come out of a corner next to a yfz or 250r and you hook-up better than they do you can smoke there ass, there is nothing out there that will stay up with a good hooked-up banshee.
  10. I run a -4, but you might have to trim your nerf-bars if you run 10" tires. I dont use it that much anymore, now I have -3.5 lone star swingarm.
  11. Hey d, did you get my pm I sent you.
  12. You say you have to much stuff done to your bike that your stock clutch won't hold up. I have only known of 2 motor that a stock clutch with the 3 fzr springs would not work for and they both were the trinity power-valve motors ( 95 hp+). So unless you have a trinity motor, a stock clutch with the fzr springs will work just as good if not better than all the other clutches out there. If you want proof look at my banshee I have been running a stock clutch and fzr springs with a passion stroker/longrod motor for along time. But hey thats just my opinion you do what you want.
  13. I've been racing my banshee for few years without one. I just check my fluids before I go the track and I dont think I have ever been low on radiator fluid. If you want to keep it send blue duece a pm and check out his coolant bottle. He has mounted his in the front of his bike.
  14. I fly a blackhawk for the army national guard, in my civilian job I work for life flight.
  15. I finished 6th last year in open pro, the first national short track race is May 13-14 but I have a helicopter school I have to go to for my job . I' going to try and make the other national races and I'm going to try to make the nftra races.
  16. Chech passionre he is selling them. He can also install it for you. He did mine and it runs great.
  17. I raced at Mark's 2 times last year, what class did you race? I just found out today at work that I have to go to a school for my work from May 10 to May 21 , so I dont think I will be able to go to the Orville race but I'm going to try to race the others. Are you going to the nationals?
  18. Oh by the way nice pic on the flyer, D34
  19. D are you going to run the nftra races this year? Ben have you ever been to Breshear yet, it is one sweet track. I think there is race in April there.
  20. My plastic is red and my frame is getting powder coated black, so I think you know what I choose. Black and Red.
  21. Here's a diferent pic.
  22. This Tulsa Shootout 2004.
  23. I have an amp link and I think they are worth the money. The amp link will keep the same tension on your chain no matter what you are doing and this helps get the hp to the ground. If you race flattrack it will stop your chain from slipping and your rear shock from bottoming out or hitting the ground. $50 sounds like one hell of a deal.
  24. Jinx what track do you live by? Are you goimg to race there this year?
  25. a sway-bar is a must. If you shop around you can find one pretty cheap. WhenI race on a 1/2 mile track I start with a 16/40 and if that is not enough I put a 39 on the rear.
