  1. is there any way i can make a nitrous kit myself? you know buy all the parts i need and then just hook it all up? just wondering. thanks, Jon
  2. damn, i didn't realize there was so much work with nitrous, but yea i just ordered a trinity 33mm single carb kit, and that nitrous kit was the only one i could find on e-bay, and i would like to have a boondockers set-up but i don't have $700 dollors to drop just on nitrous, I won't have any money for a month or two i just wanna do all my research first and find the best, cheapest nitrous I can. Thanks ,Jonathan
  3. I'm planning on sealing everything i can up with silicone as tight as i can for XC, and iv been riding in mud for a long time and i haven't had any problems "YET", about the only way i know to prevent any damage is to seal every hole with silicone and keep all your bushings and bearings sealed with water proof grease.
  4. wait a sec., I don't think this one is the same kit you bought, but this kit is only for $300. here it is http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43977
  5. ohh, and wonder if it would work with a trinity 33mm kit? anyone know?
  6. damn, thats cheap for nitrous! but is this nitrous reliable? I know I'v heard that boondockers nitrous it but what about this kit? I might wanna get one.
  7. I agree with itsmyforte.
  8. I would say not, I've just heard that the 35mm is better on ported motors
  9. yea I've heard that the 33mm kit is better for unported motors with mild bolt-ons, and the 35mm will work best on ported motors, and if you do get it ported all you have to do is pick a bigger carb and get it.
  10. 1500ml, or 1 1/2 quartz or i think 2 quartz if you just rebuilt the motor
  11. I would say so, my my 2002 warrior had the same head lights and my 88 banshee.
  12. well then if you like it the way it is then i would just get the stock crank welded to make it a little more dependable, and it would be alot cheaper, i think its under $100 to have it trued and welded. compared to $500 for an aftermarket crank
  13. I would say without a ported motor 33mm with some miner bolt-ons, but with a ported motor 35mm i think would be the way to go.
  14. i would just buy a stroker like 4mm or something, or if your not planning on wanting much more power in the future then welding your crank would be the cheapest way to go
  15. click on this, http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html it will give you all the info on your carbs, and jetting, its the best carb and jetting info i can find on the net, it also has pictures of everything in your carbs
  16. I would probley go with some duel 33mm or duel 34mm, since you have it ported, or maybe even bigger carbs, maybe someone else can help you out a little better.
  17. thats cool, i just ordered a trinity c.v. 33mm carb kit myself and i think ill love it for xc!
  18. I wouldn't mind having some pictures too, before i start hacking at my timing plate, does anyone know where we can find some?
  19. I don't think so, I've never used a gasket between the carb boot and the reeds, Just between the reeds and the cylinder, i just always got some high temp. silicone and put it between the carb boot and the reeds. hope this helps.
  20. you mean the carb tops? well if that is what your talking about them if you got a tors removel kit it should of come with them, otherwise I have no clue where you would get just the carb tops, you could try to contact motion pro and see if you can just buy the carb tops.
  21. you never know it could of been an honest mistake, but i would contact the seller and see if you can get your money back, and then if he doesn't want to give you your money back then i would contact e-bay.
  22. if it was me I would run it the same as you did the yamalube, but i wouldn't switch your oil to offten, just try to stay with one oil, and you should be alright this one time, i wouldn't worry about it, as long as you don't go back and forth and use different oils everytime you ride it.
  23. you know you have a point, i would have no ideal of contacting e-bay either, maybe some one on HQ does though.
  24. well shaving your head is cheaper, but you could look into noss head which have better cooling and you can change the domes to any size, anytime you want, as long as you get the right octane to support the higher compression, and i think you mean boring your carbs, i think you can bore them out to a max of 28mm "not sure" or you can spend more money "probley bout $250 more" depending on the size of new carbs you want, but shaving your stock head, and getting your carbs bored would be the way to go if your low on cash.
  25. sounds like a scam to me, i would contact e-bay, you never know it might save someone the time, money, and trouble of getting scamed, I HATE SCAMMERS!
