OK I got the stator installed, went to take the 'shee for a spin to make sure everything works before moving on to the lights... The 'shee seems to be misfiring just about when the power kicks in.. I had the timing +3 degrees so I moved it back to 0.. 'Shee still won't wind up. I also had my flywheel lightened but didn't think either mod should make her run like this. Ricky Stator said to set the coil to flywheel @ .010 to .015, I am about .011. I didn't think this would affect my jetting so I haven't made carb adjustment. I am running NGK B8ES just like always. I don't need a different plug do I? Anybody else have anything like this with the Ricky Stator 200w and adjustable plate?

I have a 2" autometer manual temp guage it only lastest about 2 months until the needle just quite working. However I noticed autozone now has electronic autometer guage that shouldn't vibrate apart $30 I think.

I had same problem. I was beating the hell out of it with a 5lb sledge no budge, My brother called me a puss whacked it once and it came out..I was scared to hit it hard! just leave the nut threaded til it's flush so it wont harm the bolt or nut!!

when I did my banshee top end dirt and crap fell down...My first thought was how in the hell was I gonna hold this thing upside down... I took my shop vac and duct taped about 2 foot of 1/4" fuel line into the end of the shop vac... This aloud me to suck all the crap out easy...

I'll post the pics when I get done. They'll be actually under the bar and grip just below all the hand controls on both sides. When the bars are forced all the way past the furthest mosted left or right turn the chrome housing just kisses the tank cover plastic.

Ogilby Camp Area is where I think the tower is at, just south of the closeure, can't I just ride around the closed area and heasd north? I thought gorden wells was alittle west of the coachella canal?

My bad I just followed the wires on my bike there are a total of 6 wires, 4 to the white plug and 2 more seperated....Just like the bran new stator I have here in my hand..DOH! DUNEDEMON what type of lights you running? I picked up 2) 6" off road lights with 100watt halogens.. I am mounting them on the bars right below my grips (will post a how to when done). I want to run the stock lights also, so I am thinking swapping the 100 for 55w. That should bring the total to around 180 watts... I wonder if the 200w stator would run both 100wattors and the stock 35's?

Hum? it was to my understanding that the RS 200w has the stock lights and ignition at the plug, the 2 extra wires I thought are for the extra power... My brain is itching..

I got my 200w from Ricky, to my understanding it has the stock wattage for the lights and ignition at the plug allowing for no modifying of the stock electrical system. My question is about the extra circuit.. Is it 120 watts? Do I need to add a voltage regulator if I run 2 55w halogens or can I just wire the new lights straight to the stator? Also I was thinking of a 12v dry cell battery like from a RC car or a cordless drill for accessory lights after the motor is off, Is it possible to charge the battery? Do I need a Single Phase Rectifier/Regulator or something to keep it charged? If this has been covered before please direct me to the correct location I have honestly search the forum!

Yeah I was trying not to post in the "east coast guys" thread anymore.... My brother and I will prob. be @ the microwave tower down south atleast the 1st night...... Is it possilble to run from highway 8 north to highway 78 and back on one tank?? And just to make sure about sticker issues.. Here in Texas they require no registration or anything as far as I know. So I need an out of statte sticker to ride Glamis right? And then it's $25 for dune fees right?

I think I have seen or read about something on the Trinity River banks down that way, but with the freakin law Texas pasted awhile back you probably can't ride the river anymore..

I added the pro design and have had no cooling issues since, check Ebay you can find new ones there...The cooler shee runs, the more HP's shee's pullin....I also like the idea of the changable domes..

Is +7 going to help with the low end and hurt the top?
