  1. gotta take it apart. you will need to replace the rod to. it is easier to get a good used crank then to get yours rebuilt. and its cheaper. there are a million on ebay right now.
  2. mp racing makes billet plugs for the ballance tube holes. or you can get some bolts that fit tight in the holes. there is no dyno proof that the tube does anything. its only good use: to have something to hold elec. and and vent tubes off the motor.
  3. 20x10x10 paddles dont hook woth shit compared to a tire with more profile like 22x11x8. for the banshee i would go with 22x11x8 8 paddle, but if you are ging to do more mods go to a 9 paddle.
  4. just plug off the balance tube holes. looks cleaner without that stupid thing.
  5. first make sure there is no flaws in the gear surface or the crank surface. measure them with a set of calipers too. also what crank is it? if you can get ahold of another gear try that.
  6. get cpi's they are the BEST pipe oyu can get without getting one custom made for your motor.
  7. why do you want a boost bottle?
  8. the pic on here is a pic of the woods pipe. the topend pipe doesnt have a bend in the belly.
  9. i got 2 with good bearings. 30 shipped for each one.
  10. if its a bigbore you should get a set of pipes that are made for a bigbore. i like the toomeys better thsn the fmf's. if it isnt ported i would run 280 mains and 30 pilots for sea level.
  11. stock is 64mm bore and you can take stock sleeves to 66.5 thats .100 over
  12. what bmx frames do you have?
  13. those look like old fmf's. back when they didnt name them. we have a set on one of our bikes. they are pretty much the same as fattys.
  14. my buddies banshee has lasted 2 years on a stock top end with 19cc domes. and he only runs on sand at sea level. and he runs avgas. avgas is half the price of race and in my opinion it is better.
  15. i had shortys racing do a drag port for me. and it only took a week. it was damn fast too. the number is on his website. www.shortysracing.com
  16. buy a set of flat slides. you will never have to worry about strippin out the tops.
  17. i picked up one of those in a trade once. and it came with a uni filter on it.
  18. www.chromeanything.com
  19. i had a customer that had a similar problem. heres what i found. the part of the shift shaft that turns the shift star got turned sideways in the star. this fix was simple, just pulled it out and put it back. so far it hasnt done it since then. almost 6 months. make sure your shaft doesnt have a lot of play in and out. there is a stop on the clutch cover that helps hold it in place. it could have come off the star enough to not catch it.
  20. 3000 - 3500 for a stocker in good shape.
  21. i paid 700 for a brand new one and picked it up from the local yamaha dealership.
  22. i would go with the t5 over the t6. but then the cpi is better than both.
  23. 600 for a used frame? i paid 700 for a new frame from yamaha.
  24. there is a guy that works at cycle sports in salem, oregon that does stators. his are guarenteed for life. i dont know about the price but mr mooney does he has one.
  25. from my experience with carbs mikuni's are way easier to tune than keihin's. i used to run 34tm's. i am now switching to packard lectrons.
