last I heard it was turning into a threewheeler

Those carbon fiber tank plastics are 138 bucks a side from the dealer.....I got my white one for 10 something a side......they should be real carbon fiber for that price. They do look a lot better in person, but the black rims gotta go.
-
your lucky, stlbull did about the same thing and ended up breaking his back. He'll recover greatly due to wearing a chest protector that spread the impact across his back. If he wasnt wearing it he probably would never ride....let alone walk again.
-
cool, I'll definitely be getting 2 shirts off you, could you post the different colored stickers and what they look like for us? How much more would shipping be for additional shirts?
-
I hate when that crap happens bigwill. I used to ride down at the Port and areas around there for a good long time and then they started cracking down on that real bad....miss riding in the sand. The area we go to up by Jim Thorpe (hazleton area) the one guy that owns a ton of property on the one side of the road started cracking down pretty bad cutting our riding area in half because some dumb kids went and broke all the windows on the mining machinery. If I ever saw kids doing that I'd drag them down and beat the shit out of them for just giving people like us a bad name and ruining our riding.

that second picture is badass meat with all the hillclimbs going up to the flat area. I love areas like that. We gotta hang out there for a good while. Are those hills smaller and not that difficult? Any good launchers?

you cant really see mine to well, but they came with 2 bolt holes in them, one that mounts to the outer hole on the footpeg, and then you drill another one, They dont have teeth on them but they do have a 1/4" tab that sticks up on the end of them that is nice to have. It helps even more from your foot sliding off, and when you put your foot up on them for around corners and stuff that tab will dig into the sole of your boot. The ultimate would be a pair that has teeth that sit up a tiny bit more than the teeth on the original pegs, that run the whole length of the footpeg, that have the extender with that tab on it. Bolt on of course....not all of us have welders at hand.

holidays tend to bring staties.....and a lot of people have to do family things on memorial day weekend and such. I'm not sure on a date or anything but it's gotta be warm enough to camp at night, so late spring after the rainy season mainly comes through I would think would be a good time, when it gets up into the 75-85 degree range during the day and 50's at night. I like to ride hard....but its hard to with a pack of people up there, the dust kicks up something fierce and you gotta stay back quite a ways, or be on top of the person in front of you so you can stand up and ride above his dust ploom. It'd be hard to ride hard in a pack if you dont know exactly which way to go, theirs all sorts of intersecting trails and Y's and such that you could go one way while the group went the other.....and its not very hard to get lost.

that one looks like junk dude.....get a nac's one. Best money I've spent.....I've changed so many tires with it, even car and truck tires with an extended piece I built to connect each other.... definitely go with the nac's. It's great quality.

I started mine for the first time in a month and it took me about 10-15 kicks to get it started.....just didnt want to start today I guess. Usually it'll take about 4-7 when its cold. In the summer it takes 2-3, and when its warm every time I kick it over it'll start....unless I'm lazy or something. Some just like to start faster than others I guess. I'd say that choke not staying out would be my main concern. How is it that when the bikes off and you pull it out a little between first and second setting it'll pull back in?.....Spring loaded? I'd say try holding your choke out all the way with one hand, and kicking it over and see if it'll start any easier for you. You might want to look into a compression tester to see what your compression is at. It's a lot harder to start a bike thats starting to get a worn top end.

I dont know about hanging it on the a-arm but if their was a way I could safely velcro the helmet cam to part of his quad or do some sort of ziptie hook up it'd be pretty sweet. Point it at like the front tire and down the track sort of.....
-
I just bought another camcorder off of ebay. I'll have my helmet cam for coal fest, along with 15-20 tapes for it, 4 camcorder batteries, and a shitload of shooting time. Any of you have a power inverter you can plug into a cigarrette lighter that'll plug 2 chargers in?
-
definitely let us know man, thats basically the same exact engine setup I'm gonna be running
-
general rule, if you port it....you gotta weld it. You're gonna be at that limit that it might start doing something to your crank. It's all up to you whether or not you wanna go into your lower end. Is this the first new top end going on the bottom end after stock. I'm 40 over, coolhead running 153 psi, pushing somewhere around 55 hp or so and my bottom end was fine when my top end went. I'm running the stock bottom end with this new top end (first after stock) but anything afterward I'm gonna have portwork and such and going to be welding the the bottom end.

what are you gonna be putting the shed on? Drill a hole in the bottom of it and before you set it down, build it, dig hole and get bar that you can drop down into the concrete to lock the shee to. It'll deter them. Motion sensored lights on it will also be a bonus
-
alright man.....that'd be badass goin down the track. You gotta wear a backpack to hold the camcorder though
-
It's been wayyyyy to long. Since July of last year or so, since I rolled my shee, and broke my camcorder. Bought the same one off ebay, with 3 batteries (2 extended life ones) and some other goodies. They wanted almost 200 to fix my old one and I got this one for 300 with like 10 tapes for it. So the Helmet cam will be back in action soon. I cant wait. The helmet camera battery lasts for 9 hours and I'll have almost that length in camcorder battery as well now with those 3 batteries, plus the one from my camcorder. Should make for tons and tons of footage to make movies with. Riding areas around here, get lots of footage up at coalfest, hopefully get down to NJ and get some good footage. Now I just gotta get this stupid ass windows 98 off my computer so I can atleast upload sound with my video to my computer.

I just think its pretty funny he only has 62 posts and is making comments like that. People come to this site to ask about other quads because they know a lot of us on here are quite knowledgeable about 4wheelers overall. Chances are if you have a banshee, and have friends you ride with, a lot of them arent riding banshees as well, and chances are your gonna learn about their quad too. They know when they come here to get a question its not gonna be from some 14 year old that daddy or the dealership has done everything for their quad. Its just nice to know that instead of going to exriders.com they come here to a banshee site to actually get an intelligent answer

how much you want for the one with the blown engine? What blew on it? Got pics? [email protected]
-
What do you have done to your shee already? What kind of riding do you do? What kind of riding do you intend on wanting to do with it? What types of surfaces are you going to be riding on? These questions can ultimately depend what you want to spend your money on. Rims, tires, a-arms, shocks, swingarm, axle, engine mods, steering stem, bars, levers, block offs, filters.......the list goes on and on
-
yeah, up your pilot, you should get some better throttle response. It's pretty normal, when its cold like this. My shee I'll let it warm up for a good amount of time and then when i jump on it and ride it I gotta let it warm up some more or it'll break up when I get into powerband.
-
It's for herding animals man......those horses are fast hence all the modifications to your farm equipment. And you were heading to your buddies house to help him catch this one horse that they cant seem to corral
-
even a high comp piston and cam dont do much to those engines. Only thing that gives power to that engine is the 440 kit
-
its a washer that has a tab on it that you bend over after you tighten down the nut so it cant come off
