  1. I used to have a YZ250 and would kill Banshees. If you can work the clutch on the bike and keep traction it isn't even close. Banshees are much more fun though.
  2. I have a stock one that I pulled off my bike a few months ago. Not perfect but it was working fine. $20 shipped. Send me a PM if you want it.

Check out this site for more info. http://www.duneratt.com/ Here is a pic from 12/4/05 though.
  4. I agree. I run the 35pwk and it was an improvement of stock carbs on top and bottom. I ride almost all dunes so if I ever went back to duals it would probably be 33 or 35's.
  5. The 35pwk will be a lot better than stock carbs. Sounds like Toomey wants you to buy their jet kit. Throw a 200 in there with DEK needle on the 3rd clip. 48-55 pilot and you will be good to go.
  6. I think that is a good point. I've never ran into any enforcement in the Oregon Dunes but at Sand Lake they are everywhere. If you show them some respect it gets returned. If you are acting like an ass they are going to nail you. Almost every time I am there I end up BSing with one of the rangers. I haven't met one yet that was out there just to nail people. If I was a ranger and somebody started giving me shit I'd write them up for everything I could. The people bitching about getting tickets are usually the ones that deserve them.
  7. I know most people hate those plastics but I bet if you shave those fronts it would look pretty good.
  8. What do the bottoms look like? I'm not sure but the tops look a lot like my ASR's. ASR is pretty good at replacing them if they are theirs. Sounds like you are SOL with yanker so maybe ASR will help you out.
  9. Might want to read this before sending him $$. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=52584&hl=
  10. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm betting he is spitting out two stroke oil and gas rather than tranny oil. I had the same problem with my bike and I run the CV setup so I know if wasn't the carb. Left side wasn't firing every time so I was spitting out oil/gas and smoking. Replaced the left side crank seal and was back to normal.
  11. I'm voting for left side crank seal.
  12. Whew!! I hadn't seen a "will my bike beat his bike" post in at least three hours. I was starting to think the world was coming to an end. Just go race and find out.
  13. Find a friend in CA to sell it for you!! I had a guy drive up from San Diego to buy one of my Banshees. 20 hours driving each way. I got what I was asking for it and he said it would have costed him at least another 1k down there.
  14. Alba lost their touch a long time ago. I ordered from them once and that was enough. You got yourself in trouble with your bank though so you can't really blame Alba. I can see why they would either want their product or money back before giving you a refund. Not saying that is right but that is big business. They don't need your $$ so they aren't going to do much for you. If you need something fast it is almost always better to go buy it locally and pay a little more than sit and wait for something to show up then hope it is right.
  15. What needle are you running? If you are on the 5th position you may need to change needles. What do you mean by to much heat? Burnt pistons or ??? I'm running a 50 pilot and 190 main with a DEK needle on the 3rd clip. Fattys with a K&N. Runs great.
  16. I started my finace off on a Polaris Trailboss 300. It was an automatic but was a two stroke so it actually did pretty well. After she learned to ride she moved up to a YFZ 450. I think if she has never ridden before a Polaris is a great way to start. Not having to worry about shifting if very nice when you are trying to learn to ride. Plus you can pick up an old one for nothing.
  17. I've ridden in a parade and there were well defined rules layed out before we were allowed on the route. Those organizers are morons. You should have known better than to be pulling stunts though. Atleast you know what you did wrong and sound like you are sorry for it. The part that bothers me is that you weren't wearing helmets. Doing stunts on pavement with no helmet is a quick way to end up dead.
  18. I'm not running the hush kit but I have Fatty's with T5 silencers. Works fine.
  19. I have one if you are still looking. It isn't polished but it is cheap. $10 shipped if you are interested. Send me a PM if you want it.
  20. Check out these clamps on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANS...1QQcmdZViewItem I have a used set I'll ship you for $30 if you want them. They are missing one screw so you would just need to replace that. The hose is red not black. PM me if you are interested. Whatever you do DON"T pay $80 for those stock ones.
  21. Well Damn!! Now I'm really curious what these have had done to them. Anybody have a T3 they can measure the chamber on? The more I look at them the more I think the whole chamber has been replaced then they shortened the neck to the stingers so it would fit the new chamber. These don't hit as hard as the Shearers I have but when they hit they really go. Doesn't do me much good though for putting around with the kids. I've tried a bunch of pipes and just can seem to beat the Fatty's for how I ride. Just wish they had a little more top end for when I'm riding without the little guys.
  22. They run great. Just not enough bottom end for me. I'm too used to my Fatty's. Putting around with the kids isn't much fun with a top end pipe. These have a lot more top end than my Fatty's so I guess it depends on where you want the power. I looked at them again last night and the expansion chamber has been cut on both ends. Looks like it was cut out so I don't know if it was shortened or what. What is the diameter of the pipe you have? I'm wondering if the expansion chamber isn't the T3 at all. It may just have the header and stinger sections with a custom chamber.
  23. I don't have a swing arm from Dave but he did my porting, welded my crank, lightened my flywheel, and probably some other things I forgot. He is a great guy and stands behind his work. I haven't worked with many builders but I can't imagine anybody being better.
  24. I told you to do the NPB just so you wouldn't have to pay the fees for selling it. I sell stuff all the time to and I get stiffed all the time. I figured that MO would show up eventually and we would get it taken care of. I knew you from on here and figured there wouldn't be a problem. I should have kept the receipt. I know that I f**ked that up but I didn't know any better at the time. I talked with the USPS and my bank. USPS pretty much told me where to go and my bank said since I paid by debit I was screwed. That is a straight copy and paste from my bank account by the way. $150 for the arm, $20 for shipping, and .90 for the MO. I just can't even believe you would bring this up. Shit happens and even though I wonder what happed to my $$ I would have never came on here and accused you of something I had no proof of.
  25. Yep, pretty simple. It's amazing what difference you will see just from a set of new bushings.
