Its gonna just be a mild steel under the chrome. Remove the chrome/copper/nickle coating no need to screw with that especially since its in a high vibration area and the contaminated weld will be very susceptable to re-breaking. As far as the bare spot left, you can try a local specialty paint store some can order you a spray paint can of ceramic based with a chrome color that will withstand 1200* and should suffice at the location without bubbling. My shit was fine. The REason I sold the business doesn't have anything to do with that. The reason I sold it was to give somebody else the chance since at the time I could not weld anymore. My left hand was in a cast for 3 months after slicing clean through my tendon. Once that happened it was the final straw. It had become too much of a burden on me. If you were gods gift to Rocketpipes you would have been doing something other than selling. Not only that but the multitude of times I advised you to stop after my hand was injured and you continued was more and more hurting the business when I could not produce any yet there were orders still coming. Or there are people that were already waiting 2 months for pipes before I even got it so something else was happening before me in the production line. When I got it a lot of the delay was in the other companies producing parts. No need to try my story elsewhere. I know what formula I have and what it is capable of doing. I have the 360 and have been playing the hell outta Battlefield 2 Modern Combat. Probably gonna pick up GOW and or COD3. Seen a bit of glitch problems and people waiting in rooms for 10-15minutes for a COD3 round to start-up so eh not sure on that. GOW I heard had stellar graphics but didn't deserve the ultra high ratings it was given as it had absolutely no innovation. I believe the CEO of EA was quoted as saying its what the quake series was 3 years ago. As for the bluetooth I can see people running into problems especially someone like me walking around with the bluetooth headset on. But I could also see some wierd shit going on if someone left their ps3 on and another person with a palm phone like a treo walked up and dropped some shit into it kinda like war dialing. I have an '88 gsxr750. Its a rare (3000 ever made almost none left) Slingshot, large bore intakes/exhausts large bore carbs redlines at 13,000 which is a dead giveaway of a slingshot. Less than half the miles its supposed to have for its age. 15,200. Just had it all gone through new battery(needs recharged been sitting for 2 months now) new plugs, new K&Ns, rebuilt carbs so they are still the large bores, cleaned, derusted, painted tank, new windshield (which I broke with the mirrors dropping a piece of conduit in my garage. I'd be more than happy to reimburse you on them. I've been out of town a lot lately (about every state from kansas to penn north) and haven't gotten new ones yet. Bikes got a vanns and hines drag exhaust, newer tires etc. doesn't have a right side lower fairing as it will not fit over the drag pipe. I'd like $1800 for it but would do $1500 if you picked it up. Yep that would be a scam, I log into mine on both my PC and my treo never asks for a cc#. run a scan if nothing comes up try another scanner. I recommend NOD32 for a virus/spyware scanner and zonealarm for a firewall.

Get rid of the boost bottle, go back to the stock crossover. go down on your mains, if your fowling done go to the 240's see if the power stays. Keep a solid eye on your coolant overflow. If it even remotly begins to pour out with the 240s stock and go up 2 sizes. I'm not afan of the twist throttle, I always cranked it when I hit berms, screwed me up and threw me over a berm once. Mix your gas at 40:1 one bottle of yamalube 2r mixed with 5 gallons is perfect. Run engine Ice coolant. Tad expensive but will cool your engine quite a bit. And go aftermarket on the head unless you want a sleeper. Chris

Well with the garage thing you were tlaking about, I have a side room for stuff like that, oil, aintfreeze, etc the garage stuff you dont want your kid or dog to get into. Lock the door and I'm good to go. Or another idea is buy a bunch of it and spend a couple hours cutting to length sections than store them in a cardboard box on top of your tool box or something that way you'll always have ready to use packing. I know the first set I got from Tom was like that. When I was making them I had to drop some weld on the jigs because cutting the pieces to length slowly wore it down. So depending on what spectrum of the production there is a chance they are hundreths of an inch off on that sides jig but not on the opposite sides jig when can result in a noticable difference. The ones on Trex and his brothers shees were done on the jig after adding weld to makeup the lost difference. I know that from the timeframe of events. You shouldn't have a problem with them dinging as long as everything is tight. The stock hangers have that ribber washer to absorb movement, so if its a problem or worries you swap to a rigid hanger as someone else mentioned. Chris

Yeah I made them for awhile. Than life threw 3 major wrenchs in a 6month time period. I, ME PERSONALLY, welded the fuckers fine. I, while working 14-6hours/day, had a friend of mine do some for me which turned out like shit. 5 sets. FIVE FUCKING SETS, god forbid any one of the other 70 i fucking sold ever spoke up. My welds were fine, I posted pictures of them before and I'll post pictures of them again. Greg even got this "header" piece when he picked the equipment up because it was the last one I had done.
