  1. Dude to be honest with you if its running good and it seems to be working fine, Just ride it. I wouldnt tinker around with it if its completely stock. Your plug looks fine just ride it.
  2. Ya i just bought the knarlys for the rear on douglas quad roks and klaws in the fronts on quad roks, because locogato and a couple other guys said they were a good tire. They hook up awesome and i couldnt be happier. I picked up a set of tires and rims for my buddy while i was at magic racing when i got mine. He got holeshot gncc's front and rear on itp t9's and i hook just as good as he does and i paid less for my tires. Plus his is a way softer compound. Dont get me wrong the gncc's are a great tire and look great also. But my kendas hook just as good, are a harder compound, and were cheaper.

  6. Well i have pretty much desided on which tires i want to get. Im going with the Kenda Knarly's in the rear 20x11x9. Up front im going to go with Kenda Klaws but magic racing only offers them in 22 not 21's will that make much of a difference. I cant decide which rims to go with doulgas quad roks, or itp t9 pro series. They both look good which one is stronger?
  7. I know its been discussed millions of times, but i was kinda hoping you guys could tailor fit a tire for me. I need a good all around tire for the rear. I ride up at baldwin michigan, they have sandy trails just like dune sand (almost need paddles). Also grated dirt rodes and powerlines. I want a tire that hooks awesome.

  9. Ya i was just wondering how long you guys usually wait for stuff from ricky stator. I live in michigan i placed a order for a cdi box last saturday the 23rd and its thursday the 28th. I only got the ground shipping because i figured it would be here by this coming saturday the 30th. I realize it is in california but do you guys think it will be here tommorow. I understand its a pretty stupid question and topic but i was just wondering if they were good about there shipping?
  10. Ya i use All autometer in my vehicles i just didnt want to spend that much for one that might break when i go to jump or something. Im trying to find a cheap liquid filled one.
  11. I have installed two sunpro 20$ mechanical temp gauges and they both broke within two hours of riding. Is there any suggestions on a good temp gauge that will last. Looking to spend no more then 50$.
  12. Any ideas on what cdis i have for an option. How are the srp ones?
  13. Well finally im 99% sure i know what is wrong with it. I rode it today until it started acting up and then i swapt cdi boxes with my buddy. His bike immediatly started running like crap. And mine seemed to be running much better. Mine still needs some fine tuning but i was wondering what cdi boxes i should be looking at. Are the srp ones any good or what are some other choices.
  14. Well i played around with it for awhile today, i gave it a compression test after i warmed it up and i have 120 psi in both cylinders. I swapt reeds with my buddy and it definetly runs better with different reeds but it did not fix my problem. I checked the spark and i am getting awesome spark on both sides. I cleaned and synched the carbs to the best of my ability and it is still doing it. I will borrow my buddys cdi box tommrow and give that a try. But im thinking it has to be something in the carbs, i just dont know what. It seems to run raspy just all of a sudden after riding it for awhile, and it idles rougher. Any more ideas would be great i have no idea where to start.
  15. Well i messed around with the carbs yesterday. The needle clip was at the very highest postiton towards the top. I moved it to the middle and that helped a ton. I picked up alot of power. It still breaks up and runs weird but i dont have the carbs perfectly synched. What is the best way to get them perfectly synched without the best tools.
  16. I have a billet impeller, and the idle screws are 1.5 turns out.

It so hard to explain, it seems to idle a little rougher, and it almost sounds like a scratching sound its wierd i dont know where to start, it just doesnt make sense that it all of a sudden starts happening out of the blue. Im really going to have to take a look at it, i just dont know where to start.
  18. Does anybody have an idea, i need help bad i have no clue what to do now? Could it be the reeds i never checked the gap would that do it. They looked fine in appearence
  19. Well im pretty sure it has nothing to do with overheating now. I rode it today and tried everything to heat it up fast never went above 210. But it still does it after awhile it starts sounding more deeper ( like airbox noise gets louder) and starts idling kind of rough, it doesnt feel like it loses power. I got so pissed i pinned it in neutral and held it there for about 5 seconds, i dont know what to do! Do banshees have rev limiters, do you think i could have hurt something holding it there for that long. Im stumped, im almost ready to take it to the stealership, but i think they will just say its running fine. About the only thing i havnt replaced is the reeds and the look perfect, no cracks etc. Could it be the tors system. Also i have a brand new stator set at 0 and a brand new coil with new wires and plugs. Engine is one year old has vitos crank and wiseco pistons bored 30 over
  20. someone on here told me to go up a jet size last season i went from a 200 Stock to a 210, i just went back to the 200 today and it seems to run better. The plugs were black before, i put new ones in after jetting it down now there tan. So my jetting should be fine, also there are no air leaks, it runs fine until it gets hot. I will ride it tommrow and see how it does and i will let you guys know.
  21. The power increased when i put the lower jets in, i actually hanged better with my buddy. Why would he be beating me, mine is bored 30 over and the timing is set at 0 now. Also if it isnt normal for it to heat up like that then what else could it be? And what did your bikes do when they got to 230? Also i think most of that noise i heard was the water boiling when i had straight water in it.

  23. Well i went and bought my gauge and installed it today. I did exactly as you guys said and stuck it three inches away from the head on the top radiator hose. I got a tee and put it inline. It works awesome, when i am crusing at a pretty good speed it runs about 170 - 185 but as soon as i start to putt around or slow down it heats up pretty quick, it heated up to 230 like nothing. At first when i start it i can let it idle forever and it wont overheat but as soon as you ride it for awhile and then slow down and putt is when it gets hot. I also lowered my jet size i had a 210 in it and lowered it to a 200, now my plugs are tan. My buddy has a stock 95 that he just bought from my cousin who bought it brand new and only rode it maybe 10 times ever, well we raced down the rode and he beat me. So i knew something was wrong, i went down to the 200 and that helped alot, also i put 50/50 coolant in it. I just wish i knew why it heats up so fast? is this normal? it was about 85 degrees here today.
  24. Went and bought a mecahincal automotive temp gauge going to try to hook it up tommorow and clamp it to my handelbars somehow.
  25. Does your banshee sound much different after it is thouroly warmed like after 15 mins of riding? Also would putting on a billet head with stock size domes put a bandaid over the problem?
