na it kinda has to have some yellow in it because hes not painting my gas tank, my radiator shrowed and my rims

Well ive got a 95 banshee with purple and yellow plastics, it has a 5.6 gallon ims desert tank, my mom knows a guy that owns a body shop, he says he can paint my plastics, so they wont peel, crack, nothin, and should look just like new. My question is without painting the radiator shrowed, gas tank, and rims. What color combo whould you think looks best. All i can think of is black, with the yellow. I believe it is hydrolic, and hes one of my dads good freinds so ill believe what he says, ya he said that the stock heads are crap because gm doesnt clean them up after casting, but he said if it came down to it, we could clean them up. Ya and i dont plan on using nitrous, he said i could if i wanted. I plan on doing some good offroading time, but not insane, i still want to be able to drive it back and forth to school everyday. I belive he is giving me a ignition kit and distributer.

ya im switchin over to a carb, im thinkin of puttin on a quadrajet 4 barrel that my dad has sittin in the garage, but ill most likely end up puttin a holley truck avenger on there in the future, i have no idea about the whole block thing yet, all i know is that it is a 4 bolt main, with some performance mains, and it has been magnafluxed, its goin through the whole process. My dad knows the guy that's buildin the engine, and he said the last 383 that he built for a guy was makin about 400 horsepower on the engine dyno. Im not going to spend that kind of money, he told me for what i wanted id be makin around 350-375 horsepower. If he cant find a set of vortech heads, then where just goin to clean the ones that i have in my truck up and through those on there, the man said everything in this motor will be roller. I have to get some more details on it today. I just went down and talked to him for a bit, and saw the block. Boonman have you done anything to your 700-r4? i havnt really decided on the internals yet, But i am most likely going to buy a rotating assembly from www.ohiocrank.com

Ya i totally agree i love poping the hood on a vehicle and knowing where everything is and what everthing does, now its all electronic crap. Ya were puttin vortech heads on the 383, the builder said these are the best heads you can get.

My 350 in my 1990 chevy pickup is getting a little tired, i just put a body lift on and am running 33*12.50's, i also put a turbo 350 trans in it, and now am having a guy rebuild me a 383 stroker, out of a 4 bolt main block, and its suppose to have around 400-450 horsepower, everthing is going to be roller, and i could run nitrous if i wanted, but wont. Just want to have a little talk to get me reved up about it.
