  1. I knew someone would ask it figured it woulda been bignasty
  2. right on, we will hook up and rip it up sometime...I used to ride there also before it closed...and 201 as well. I guess everyone is going out to mile marker 205 now. Might go out there instead of Sycamore if its real hot.
  3. those arms are junk, send em back and have Gary make you a set...always remember you get what you pay for
  4. the more gears you get through up the hill the better
  5. pro: If you buy a brandynew shee, and keep it clean/lubed and run alot of oil in your gas, a shee will run forever, get some pipes and a filter and your set....my lil brothers friends shee has been run at 28:1 with yamalube since the day it was new in 91 stock bore, rings, pistons....never even had the head off. and its been through some hell too, rides the piss out of it to this day. 13 years, not bad at all. there was guys getting 15k miles on rz350's around here including some track time. con: $9200 air-vac ride
  6. try to wheelie with a fat chick on the back that should help....i agree that keepin them going on the shee is a pain in the ass, on a rap-turd or slowhundred ex I can "walk" them though most the gears. but on the shee I have to put my fatass wayyyy back on the bike to pop it up on flatland. In the sand with paddles it's pretty easy to pull it up
  7. keep that 160 for a good drunk bike
  8. just JB weld a quarter over it ... where do ya live at lincster? I'm on Ironwood and Southern, were going to sycamore this Sunday if your game?
  9. welcome chica, this is the best site period for getting information on the BEST quad ever made! hundreds of peeps on here that know there chit....any girl that rides, let alone a banshee is ok in my book
  10. run some CLR through it to get any kind of build up outta there, I run alot of water in my bike instead of strait coolant so I do this often
  11. mine came on itp wheels as well, they are very light, and look better than douglas wheels
  12. My neighbor has a set up for blowing dents out of pipes. He heats the pipe up to a certain degree, then puts this deal on it with plugs at both ends and pressurizes it to pop the dent out. He did my KX250 pipe that was pretty bashed in from laying it over on a rock, it was perfect when done but the nickel coating looks like chit. If you want me to ask him how much to do yours (if toomey bails on ya) let me know.
  13. kool, I am going to Reno for a couple months as of the 29th, so I am not sure if I will get it done before I go or not, but 50 bones is better than the 85 the shop will charge me when they rebuild the shock, I look forward to walking in with my own shock.
  14. hook up on springs! yipeee, I'll hit ya up with a pm soon Dunedemon... I am going with my stock swinger legthened out 2", and revalving my stock shock with gold valves. 260lbs, mostly dune riding... I am tryin to build my bike to pummel the whoops.
  15. I hear that Mulletboy, its getting hot as chit here already....a couple more weeks and the pool will be nice I herd its going to be 103 in Havasu today!
  16. you could try and get in like Axel Foley did
  17. that new cbr1000rr is lookin mighty sweet, I used to have a superhawk and I loved it, the v-twin is so sweet for pulling hard out of corners, if a 750 falls outta the high revs for just a second I would fly right by
  18. I thought I herd about a backflip on a quad before Carrey Hart tried it on a 2wheeler?
  19. stock, I bent my toomeys and am too lazy to buy new ones
  20. lol, thas funny, I jumped into this thread thinking we had some turbo talk going
  21. ohh ya, and in the sand I win far more races than I lose going against the thumper class bikes
  22. all three are a good race on a long wash with some rolling whoops and loose pack. Although I was only one on stock tires, and the other 2 bikes on 22" holeshots we came up close every race. Mostly depends on who got the best launch. I would win a couple and the rap-turd (my best friends bike) would win a couple with the 450 about half to a full legth behind on most races but he pulled out a time or 2 himself. With the traction problem I have in this certain spot at Sycamore on stocker tires.. I think with some 22"s I would not lose. All 3 are good bikes, I rode the rap-turd around for a while and the 450 for about 10 mins and had a good time on em but didn't wanna admit it I still vote Banshee! banshee: t-5's, uni filters, no box raptor: whitebros full pipe, proflo 450: fmf header/pipe, air box lid off
  23. t-5's, unipods, v-force @ 350 mains, stock pilots, needle at 3rd clip down runs great, maybe even too good
  24. i will pray for you tonight bro that it is only your top end that went and that your crank bearings are still together...good luck
