sand mountain is a cool DUNE, But coming from a place where I go to Glamis 4 or 5 times a year......sand mountain is just that ....A DUNE. But it will make for some fun I'm sure. I also saw some dunes about 2 hours past Vegas on the left side of the HWY, Anyone know what these are called??

Down to 110 on left side and 120 on the right side, time for some pistons. I have always been a Wiesco Pro Lite kind of guy, any suggestions as to what to run. this is my first time rebuilding the shee so any info would be awsome. I've seen people saying the vito kits can give ya some more ballz, but not really any claims on the wiesco kits boosting power. So I'm not really sure whats the best kit to buy. Thanx

I have to agree on the comfy seat, I rode a 450 and the seat sucks ass.

Trannys are junk in the 95 and later models from what I've experienced, have some friends that have good luck with them but they aren't running big tires or towing, under those conditions the 1/2 tons Ive had have had some issues around 90k. Get a diesel!!!

Number One rule of going to the dunes...this is a lifesaver, Bring some goldbond powder and powder up the good ol boys every morning, keeps the swalls (sweatyballs) away and helps to prevent monkey butt. Always a must for the hotter months at Glamis. Make sure you don't get the blue bottle!!!!

thas a badass fiddy evil, I plan on getting mine tricked out before too long, I've been in Reno for the past 6 weeks and I bought one so I would have something to do without the shee here. I've mainly rode it around my warehouse doing wheelies and attempting stoppies and no footer stoppies. There just too much damn fun and an awsome drunk bike I like the big bar kit on the Z50, I always thought it was easier to wheelie with the big tires on the Z instead of the skinnys on the XR, I might pick up some fatties for mine this weekend. the cool thing is since I am from AZ and in NV I bought it without paying any sales tax! 1255.00 out the door with a 6 month warranty.

Well if you can't talk her into a shee with a 2-1 carb kit, (pretty much loses the whole lightswitch effect) I would go with the rap-turd, they are just as fast as a shee on dirt and require much less shifting.

I picked up a 04 CRF50 the other day and have begun putting on mods and mastering the wheelies. Just wondering if anybody on here has one or any experience with these pit bikes. they are badass little bikes and durable as hell. they have a huge following around the west coast and are Hondas best bike IMO. Can't wait to put on the bars and stiffer springs tonight!
