  1. This last trip out to Gordons I got a pretty good view on some paddles I tried out. I brought my sandstars 20x8 & geckos 21x10, the geckos dont hook up for shit and dont throw a roost unless you sit on the handlebars. The sandstars are excellent and in my eyes I dont see any real big differences between them and the haulers, Keep in mind I have never run any haulers on my bike just them on my buddies bike, but they feel almost the same, lots of forward bite and you need alot of body english to turn sharp at any kind of speed. With the geckos you can flip 180's on hills like nothing, using just throttle, but I was losing holeshots to slowhundred ex's and passing them after the 3rd or 4th big whoop at the hill. The sandstars are cheap I got mine for 158.00 a set on itp's. My buddy had a kings turbo paddle on his KTM 400sx and that sunamabitch threw a roost about 1 inch behind the rear fender, I crossed behind one time and the sand went strait up my helmet and up the nose. sounds like the turbo paddles throw a vertical roost!
  2. east coast bikes go way cheaper than west coast bikes, especially shees, the beat up and pissed on j-arms around here still fetch 2500 easily. its hard to find a shee thats been taken care of for what some of you east coast boys have picked up yours for. I got mine 02 all stock with only 2 dune trips on it, never seen dirt (bought it from a buddy) for 3200 and everyone round here hates me for squeezin that deal....I'm sure it happens everyday round your parts.
  3. it'll hurt for a day or two but not too horrible, just mix those perks they give ya with a couple brew haus and you'll be good to go
  4. they build those Gems at toyjunkies in Chandler, they were almost done with it last time I was there. They carry lots of bolt on bling for shees, oils, sixxer racks, and those powered parachutes. Looked pretty cool but with that reparis 325 motor it will prove to be pretty gutless in the sand on any kind of hill. My friend has built a couple badass carts, the last one he did had a 600cc fuel injected snowmobile crate motor with a clutch kit. With just some cheesy 20" sand skates it would wheelie past most of the faster rails down the drags.
  5. It would of been nice to meet all you guys, but I can't stand still once I'm there and just keep riding with no care of what time it is. I'm one of those fuckers that has no priorities. We will meet up in the future cause I am not going to stop going to the dunes anytime this century. I think there will be quite a few of us going to the cinders in Flagstaff, AZ 5/28 if any of you Cali guys are down?
  6. I was there around 9ish I think, I was running with a another blue shee, a black rap-turd, and was racing a 250r for an hour strait
  7. a hammer drill, 1/2" threaded drop in anchors, 1/2" eye bolts, some heavy duty chain, mapgas, and 5 master locks. As long as someone sees em before they find my sawsall and grinder the bikes arn't going anywhere. Thats after they go through my 110 lb rottie that I beat with a stick every night to keep her on her toes!
  8. I'm on my way out, I"ll be at Gordons about 1 mile down the eastern canal in a group kind of away from everyone, drop on by or I'll see ya the hill!
  9. I'm not sure if I will be there or not, I might end up going with a group to Gordons, I talked a couple of other peeps into going but they dont want there kids out there in Glamis on a holiday weekend witch is understandable. If I do camp with ya I will be driving a little red toyota p/u and will be there around 7ish tommorrow night. If not I will try and make it to Olds Sat morning @ 10 to meet up with everyone. I have never done this ride with my current bike and am unsure how far I can go on one tank. Does anybody have any feedback on how much gas you will use going from say the drags at Gordons to olds???
  10. i heard that Sycamore would close soon as well, witch sucks cause they already closed all the AZ state trust land by my house I went out there last weekend and alot of the hills are worn down to nothing and new trails are started all over the place. I hadn't ridden since I bailed there 2 months ago all out in 5th down the wash, after 2 days in ICU I couldnt help but to get back out there and run it again (helmet strapped on this time of course). Nothing beats watching people bail down the widowmaker.
  11. nevermind, if out past sweetmaries then I will find ya
  12. I might hook up with you guys too if its cool, none of my group even knows where there going yet!!! cell:480-201-5443....Gimmie a call before you leave Dunedemon because I have no sence of direction and get lost in the mall
  13. how much for a carbon fiber blue painted radiator shroud?? I'd be willing to start the bidding at 50 bucks
  14. I know what brown can do for me
  15. ok nevermind the tc3 is the road car not the stadium truck, different ball O wax, but bring your rc-10's on! (electrics and gas)
  16. sheedaisy, I am kind of curious how you expect your electric tc3 to go faster than my rustler, with the best brushless out there I am kind of doubting you can beat my truck to 50 mph. Now on a track it's a different story, team ass. all the way, but in a jumping contest and strait speed ya gotta give the win to traxxas.
  17. so I built this rollbar
  18. I was breaking a chitload of shocktowers on my rusty after I built this ramp
  19. tell that bitch to get in the kitchen and make me some blueberry pancakes
  20. Yo ridingorhiding and Ben, are ya guys looking like ya might make the 5/28 trip?

  22. If I do go to the g-spot I will hook up and camp with you guys fo show, if nothing else lets meet up and cruise gordons for a couple hours and kick a couple cold ones. Sat at what time everyone??
  23. look for a fat guy riding this bike thas me
  24. pair o dice is some good eatin, cant pass up a breakfest bowl when your out there. for those of ya that dont know It's just across the bridge that connects Gordons and Butternuts. What time say Sat do you guys wanna meet up? I am down for whatever and will be hungover But after a breakfest bowl and a brewskey I will be ready to rip!
