I rode a friends yzf at the dunes a couple weeks ago and it's damn impressive, with the stock pipe they are very quiet and throw a sweet and steady roost, almost felt like a total sleeper because they let off so little sound and get on it in a hurry. It's not as fast as my shee in the sand but on hard pack I'm guessin the thumper would be out in front. As far as a sand bike that you could ride everywhere in 3rd with little effort and little clutch work I think it's an excellent buy

they sell piaa replacement lights on yamaha's website for 160.00, Ive got em on mine and they are hella bright...but you would still have to wire them up

I'm not sure yet, lots o people I know are going to buttercup that weekend and I would like to go to this race but I havent had my shee in the sand yet and I have to look at the 3 hundo in paddle tires everytime i go into my garage But I will see if I can make it

there's only 2 kinds of pussy son: 1. a big ol good one 2. a good ol big one I'm sure you can find one that would float bills so you can keep ur shee :wink:

I'll be campin down gecko round the first turn somewhere, look for a black chevy 6" lift 35" bfg's on black wheels, and a white crewcab chevy 7" fabtech on 35"s chrome wheels , 2 blue shees, 1 black and red shee, a blue rap-turd, a ds650, and some old cr500's :twisted:

Im not too worried about the kill switch, I could sport one of those, and I was gonna make a plate just like you said, but I have been wanting to get some good nerfs, right now I would have to settle for some used or cheapo ones until after the dunes. But I will see what I can find. I still dont know if I will be there just yet....hopefully you'll understand if I take a quick dune trip over this event, but I can't pass on the sand :twisted: thanx for the offers Ben, I will let you know if I am gonna make it

LOL, Don't worry about me at the drags, my shee is stock and I have to outway you by 150lbs easy! But ya check on the nerfs for the drags cause with Glamis around the corner I am running tight on cash right now. thanx!

Ok I checked it out and uno small problem, no tether, nerfbars or numberplate on my bike :oops: I suppose I could make an effort.. but damn I just got my bike a week ago and it was stock. Runnin outta loot for the next 2 weeks, but I'll see what I can do, lord knows I love the intrest rates on the plastic. Corry: do you know if you have to have those 3 to run the drags??

WOW! looks like mucho fun, I'll be there if I don't make a run to Glamis for 7-8 hours of night riding. I wanted to get in some testin and tuning on the shee before the big weekend. But hell for $20 I'd give it a shot, I've never raced before but I've done 30-40 laps at moto-grande by my house. But of course I'd be going for the beer after the race :wink:

We will be camping at Gecko road, I will have my blue banshee and maybe my 250r trike if I dont sell it first, there will be a couple more blue shees, a red and black shee, a blue rap-turd, black and white rap-turd and a ds650 with us. Holy Shit!! your the guys with the retard bus!!!! that was one of the coolest things I saw out there last year, I saw you going down the drags with a chitload of peeps in that thing..seemed to move pretty good in the sand too. I also saw ya back quite a ways in the dunes too, fucking right on, I'll say hi next time I see ya at the drags :wink:

Going up on thursday morning, I know alot of people are going the week before to Gordons, Just wondering if anyone is going for the all out party the weekend of Holloween in Glamis.

right on, ya the overall design is pretty bitchin, I think were drinking hurricanes this weekend and your welcome to roll out, maybe sometime we might go hit up dans house for some fast 50 action in his backyard...haven't lived till ya seen our fatasses hittin up the 50 track truly a site to be seen.
