  1. We have a guy at our track that is in his 50's and he's one of the fastest out there, probably in better shape than I am, lol. He's a member on PS (frank), and has been a big help to me w/ setting my drag bike up properly. One of the nicest people you'd ever meet. He's dipped in the 3's in 300' a number of times Here's to my elders
  2. Well, I fixed my problem...I pulled the stock carbs out of retirement and put them on it, lol. Runs great now!! On the 2 into 1, I installed the power jet and was able to get enough gas to it so it wasn't lean, but I still had the problem with it cutting out by 4th/5th gear. It boiled down to the bowl was being sucked dry. Fuel petcock was clean, gas cap breather was working properly, everything checked OK on fuel delivery, but for some reason the bowl just wasn't filling up fast enough  I slapped the stockers on there w/ a 27.5 pilot, 310 main and it ran great last night. I still need to take it out and put a really long pass on it but I think I got my issue resolved....FINALLY! I just got tired of dicking with it, and with the weather warming up, I want to ride this bastard, not work on it, LOL So....my 2 into 1 setup will be for sale. 2 into 1 intake, 38mm Keihin PJ carb w/ adjustable power jet, Trinity CV airbox adapter, and pod filter for the carb. The carb also has a terry cable but you may have to re-tap your throttle assembly for it to fit properly. My threads were slightly different. PM me if anyone's interested, I'll also be listing this in the for sale section, with pics  Thanks for everyone's help along the way
  3. Agreed! Dave/Holly, welcome to the HQ!
  4. Ahhhh, wanting a change of pace? The PT's are a whole different animal of a pipe, they take a little getting used to but make great low and midrange power. I'm about to put my PT mids on in place of the T5's. Those rockets look perfect, you can't tell you rode with them
  5. I'll come up with a design and see how well it turns out on the shirt...if it goes good, then I'll talk to Lee about letting us make some with bansheeHQ on them.
  6. I second that...I picked mine up from ebay for 85 bucks, from alloyboltz and had the same problems. I had to replace several bolts that stretched and snapped the head right off. Overall, it's not a "bad" kit...just be prepared to pick up a few extra bolts when you put your bike back together
  7. Yep, one petal on the stockers....two petals per side on the boyeson two stage
  8. I was thinking of making some t-shirts....My boss has a press, and I have some ideas....I'd have to run it by Lee first
  9. That's just for one in stock trim....imagine how much money this one has in it. I bet they're a blast to drive though, if I had a shitload of money I'd buy one....that's a rich man's toy, LOL
  10. Yeah, that is the only thing I don't like about the trinity head. New domes are 100 bucks shipped from trinity  But, trinity did send me two nice stickers, I'm sure they're good for a few HP  I really like my NOSS head though, I run that on my drag bike and am very pleased with how easy the installation is, as well as the availability for domes
  11. Here are what the boyeson two stage reeds look like...these are for a KTM but the "style" is the same for all makes...they look similar to stock Here is the boyeson rad valve...it's the cage and reeds, you'd know it if you had these
  12. It'll be alright Dallas, I'll let you ride my cub banshee if you need a fix  My friends and I were talking about getting a rhino too, until we saw the $11,000 price tag
  13. What I did was look on www.yellowpages.com and search for platers in my general vicinity and started making phone calls. A lot of platers won't do used pipes because it could damage the chrome bath, while others (like mine) have a thorough cleaning process that they do before they plate the pipes, and didn't mind them being used. When you do find someone, definitely let them know they are used (unless they're not) so you won't be wasting your time sending them/dropping them off.
  14. If they're the boyeson rad valves then for $75 you're getting a great deal. If they're the boyeson two stage reeds then you might want to look elsewhere. I picked mine up (the two stage) for 60 bucks from the Yamaha dealer. I do like the reeds though, for a slightly molested banshee they definitely get the job done.
  15. Yes, you will need to re-jet. If you're running stock carbs I would start at 280 on the main, and a 27.5 pilot. This also will vary depending on your elevation.
  16. Roughly 6 weeks to go! Who else is making it? bansheefreak bigboybanshee - 2 local friends coming badassbanshee479 bigcrewduramax mybigred4x4 trex banshee
  17. ^^^Take RNBRAD's advice, he knows what he's talking about! I did this today, took about 3 hours.
  18. If you have a choice, get a PWK. I've got a PJ carb and I'm not crazy about it at all. Just my .02
  19. I would start about a 45 pilot, 180 main, EEK needle on the third clip...but that's just a guess.
  20. Happy Birthday!!!!
  21. I agree about the silencer being on the wrong side...when you do get back to messing with it, just unbolt the silencer from the stinger and swap em  I've got those same silencers on mine, no spacers.
  22. Thanks man, you nailed it, I worded it wrong on what I'm thinking of doing...I really appreciate everyone's input  I've been throwing this idea around for a while, I know I could just buy a set already done, but I wanted to do something a little different. Thanks again
  23. Awesome, thanks!!!!!
  24. Where are you finding the dial a jets at? I looked on ebay but the ones on there were pretty high in price, and am not sure if its what I'm supposed to be looking for...
