I think this is an excellent post and thank you sredish for taking the time scanning, uploading, etc...
I know someone said this before in this post but I too think it's pretty ironic how in the article it never states whether any of these kids were wearing helmets or any other safety gear while they were riding.
Only thing I can agree with in the article is the fact that kids under 16 have no business on an ATV without adult supervision; especially since the parent IS RESPONSIBLE for their children until they're 18. To tell you the truth, I think NO ONE, no matter how old you are should go riding without someone else; just in case there is an accident. My friends and I have made it a rule that no one goes alone, and that when we do ride, each rider keeps up with the rider behind them, that way no one gets left behind whether they're stuck, wrecked, hurt, or just needing a breather.
The ATV does only what the rider controls it to do.....
