  1. Skylines are my favorite sports car....if I could ever come across one in good shape for the right price...MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Wassup hit the nail on the head....there already is a car that's a banshee, and that be what it look like
  2. Just buy it, that's what I did when my wife told me she didn't want me to get one. I showed up one afternoon with the banshee and there really wasn't much she could say....
  3. LMAO, not one person inquired about the pipes, only everything else. Good luck selling them!
  4. Damn dude, they deleted everything you said in there and put "I'm a doofis"....even your pic!! WTF? and of course the lame ass screamin 96 had to put BT #1 at the top. I wish he'd show up at LS when we're there, I'd love to put the beat down on such a pathetic clown
  5. LMAO Good job Led!!! That pic was priceless!
  6. Well, what do your plugs tell you? Is the left side plug look more rich than the right? If you have 163psi you do not need a rebuild, that's for sure.
  7. It could just be the cold weather affecting your shee. Also, do you know what your compression is in the cylinders? That will tell you if you need a rebuild or not. As far as your carb issue, your float may just be out of adjustment. If you have a clymer's manual, it will give you the specs as to what it needs to be set at...
  8. i like to tap it from tha back.... On a serious note, only taps I've ever used we never used the drill to tap it. We used a drill to make the holes but not to make the threads. Not sure how your tap and die set is designed to be used though...

  10. That makes a little more sense now, but when most people replace the pistons, they do it on a fresh bore. You can replace just the pistons, but if one of them were bad, chances are the cylinder sustained some kind of damage and would benefit from a clean bore. We're not trying to bash you or anything, we're just trying to make sure we understand exactly what you're selling so there isn't any "surprises". Good luck selling/trading them!
  11. Needing a top end job means it needs to be bored. If it can't be bored anymore, then it has to be sleeved. So, if you say it needs a top end job, then your big bore cylinders need to be sleeved, plain and simple. It can't need one without the other.....
  12. Sounds like the deal I got on mine....I picked my banshee up for 500, all it needed was new carb tops, the old ones were stripped out and wouldn't seal. The previous owner took it to the shop and they told him it would be like 2,000 to fix,(they said he needed a new top end, etc. but it didn't) so he sold it to me for 500 700 bucks total spent for a running banshee. Doesn't get much better!!
  13. I was gonna say that but you said it better!
  14. Thanks rail!! USMC, I heard that you can have them rebuilt, but it would cost a pretty penny and you'd be better off getting another one. Someone else may have more insight on this, but that's what I hear...
  15. Where do you guys usually take your cranks to get trued and welded? I'm having a real hard time finding someone locally to do it, figured I would ask and see where those of you who have it done got it done. I'm re-doing the top end over Christmas and was thinking of getting some portwork; I know having my crank welded is something that needs to be done. Thanks for any help!
  16. LOL, I think you'd have to go and pick it up man...that trailer might be a little difficult to slap in the back of a UPS truck I have a friend that was looking for a big trailer, he might splurge and be interested in yours....5,500 is not bad at all!!
  17. Well, it looks like you already filed the only "real" complaint you could. Auction said all sales final, no warranty...in other words what you see is what you get. I seriously doubt you'd be able to get anywhere worthwhile if you reported it to ebay....he never said it was running and did say it needed some work. For 2,000 you didn't get burned too bad. Just get you a new top end and go through the bottom end and you'll have a good machine. I'd be glad it showed up considering the guy only had 2 feedback when you bought it
  18. I got 588.8, this game is great for passing time at work!
  19. That really sucks!! I'm sure once that article gets read by more and more Dodge owners, they'll have to recall it.... That would be pretty shitty if in the end they just said to hell with the faulty joints and refused to fix them....
  20. Take fixitrod's advice and get a Noss head....no stud replacement and dlnoss can tell you exactly what dome size to run for your desired results....and he gives a discount for HQ members...need I say more?
  21. Show us the auction for it...that really sucks! Did you pick it up in person? It all depends on the details of your deal on whether or not you can really complain. If you picked it up from him in person you might not have a complaint....but if it was shipped to you then that's a whole nother ball game. Hope this ends up in your favor!
  22. Are you having trouble because it won't move at all or because you don't have any more room to move the carrier?
  23. I have a Fuji Finepix 2650. (I love it) Out of the store, it ran me 200 bucks, but on ebay you can find them for A LOT cheaper....It's only 2.1 megapixels but the picture quality is great. Also, one really important thing to keep in mind when buying a digital camera, is the fact the higher megapixel camera's will only be as good as the lens will allow. Meaning, you can get a 5 megapixel camera and still have a crappy picture if the lens isn't worth a shit. And on the flip side, you can have a low megapixel camera with a great lens and have excellent pictures.
  24. That is really messed up....I just heard about it this morning. Here's the story MSNBC has on their site. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6683479/
  25. Hmmmm...reason I asked is because I wasn't sure if they were like car plug wires...where after "x" mileage it's good to replace them. Thanks for the reply Led!
