  1. Triple rates will offer a smoother ride in the trails but tend to be to soft for serious mx. Mike
  2. It's difference not differance but anyway.... After market shocks w/ rezzie can be run harder for longer periods of time b/c they can hold ahelluva lot more fluid than just the regular shocks can. So if you're gonna be riding fast for over 45 mins at a time then go w/ the rezzy's but if your just a cruiser you can get away with out 'em. Mike
  3. I have the same amount of mods as that in my 'shee and it's 3 years newer. I would sell mine RIGHT NOW for 7500$..... and it's not even for sale. In my opinion 5000$ and you both would get a deal. Mike
  4. No double posting... Mike
  5. What I miss??? Mike
  6. Raptor axle is 2'' narrower than the 'shee axle.... Mike
  7. Sredish is right... once you get the splines lined up it should slide right into place. Mike
  8. I've never heard anyone say one bad thing about stroking . Mike
  9. $25?? Not that's a bargain. boonman, you got it, I was thinking Rustoleum or Duplicolor and putting some heavy clear. We'll see. There's got to be an end to my madness. Scott, I've found that if you call around you can get some pretty cheap prices in the dfw area, I believe he prepped it b4 he took it down to the place though. Just for some price range info.... people on here say that it cost around 100$ to get 'shee cylinders bored/honed..... I got'r done for 50$. BTW: You still need help switching your gears?? I'm free this weekend ( I don't know alot about gear ratios but I have a basic knowledge). Mike
  10. Boon, My buddie has an '02 f350 with the 7.3 in it runnin a straight pipe w/ a turn down in the stock location..... kinda sounds like a mac truck .... sounds even sweeter w/ a heavy load outback. It's not too much louder than stock but it's a whole different tone. Mike
  11. If my memory serves me right that is the day i perfected the air hump. Mike
  12. Scott, My buddy had his 250r swingarm pc'd in dallas and it was chump change to what I thought it was gonna cost.... I believe he said 25$. Mike
  13. Damd evil that is a nice ass rig!! ...... That is the main gripe I had about pop's '04 there is ZERO room behind the back seat to put some cool shit. I think after we remove the grate from up under the seat though I could possible fit a sub or three under there . After riding in/driving the new powerstrokems/cummins my next truck will most definately be a diesel. P.S. Boonman: I like the cackling Mike
  14. That looks like my dad's ride except for the grill...... BTW: His has the 6.0 in it and that thing has some SERIOUS under the hood. Mike
  15. It stiffens it up some... not enough to sweat though. Mike
  16. KICK ASS!!! I'm sure there's future plans for 10'' lift sittin on 40'' mt's right?? Mike
  17. MIne has done it since day one..... even after I blew it up and rebuilt it. 'Shee runs like a raped ape so I'm honestly not worried about it. If it does go though that just gives me an excuse for a stroker . BTW: My noise sounds like the one your describing but it sounds like it's coming from a loose bolt rattling (like the sound when your leave a socket or wrench laying on the bike and start it up). Mike
  18. Thanks for all your help guys.... I found the problem though... wasn't the oil, the plugs, cylinders or anything like that. PINCHED GAS TANK BREATHER LINE!!! ... I should've put 2and2 together when I couldn't pull my breather line up through that little slot by the key and 'shee wouldn't run. Thanks for the help again.... Mike
  19. " Now if you'll excuse me while I takest my throne, because I'm a shoe-in........ For playa hata of the year" . Mike
  20. I recently switched from the yammilube 2-r to castor 927 (kept same ratio, drained/cleaned carbs, cleaned filter and drained tank) and it ran great for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Then I hop on the bitch the next weekend (w/ 5 minute warmup) and tear off into the pasture kick ass as usual.... slow down to powerslide around my hairpin turn and it goes buuuur buuuur bloop when I pinned it. So I managed to get it back to the casa and threw a new set of plugs in it. Ran kick ass the rest of the weekend, came home the following weekend and the SAME SHIT HAPPENED!!. I'm thinking that those cheap ass b8es plugs just foul up to easy so I called around a 50mile radius and 1/2 the people tell me that the b8eix and b8ev DON'T EXIST . Is it my plugs or should have I changed something when I switched the earls? BTW: I'm runnin it at 36:1, 310 mains, 27 pilots.... same setup that 'shees had since ive owned her. I've always been told this is better oil... should I just say f*ck it and go back to the 2-r or is there something else wrong? Mike
  21. Extended brake lines are not needed until you go +2+2 or +3+1...... just run them in front of your shocks instead of behind. Mike
  22. Sweetness... I'm kinda intrested in it myself. Mike
  23. You got the fuel filter right..... About the coolant line though, I don't think I would leave it there. The fins do get warm (not hot, but warm).... but I think vibration would eventlualy wear a hole in the line. Mike
  24. www.rockymountainatv.com Different pipes are for diff. riding styles.....whats the main type of riding you do? Mike
