I have the same mods as you and I run 20x11x10 razrs w/ a 15t front sprocket. I when I get it ported I'm going to a 16. Mike
  7. I've got 837.00$ in my front end.... Quicksand +2+1 a-arms($525.00) and used set of elkas($312.00). Some peeps pay that just for the shocks alone..... mx ain't cheap. You know the saying: "Speed cost money...... How fast you wanna go??" Well it applys to mx too. Mike
  8. On a good note your avatar is PHUCKING SMOKIN!!!! Mike
  9. I tend to agree with you on this now....Learing alot being on the HQ....The suspension and chassis mods are critical esp around a MX track!! I might still do the timing and/or Reeds soon, but my next MAJOR modification/upgrade will definately be some SHOCKS then possibly some +2 a-arms later I just nutted up and ordered (waiting on pay-pal money request)a set of quicksand +2+1 a-arms and a used lsr axle. Not cheap by any means at all... but for 100$ you could do a mod that few have heard of unless there seriously into mx... a guy on here by the name of mrmatt will cut your stock swingarm for you for 100$+shipping. If I had to do it all over again my mods would go: -2.5 swingarm, Pipe&filter, shocks....... I like it that much. Just make sure you don't skimp out on the shocks... if you want to go big you don't neccasarly have to pay big either. I picked up my front elkas for 312$ to the door. Mike
  10. MrMatt will chop yours down, make it stronger than stock and do a damd good job for 100$. Mike
  11. Duece, The G3 power curve is that arch on the gillete mach3 razors . I'm gonna go against the grain here..... what excactly is your mx setup?? Spacers?? Flipped rims??? or a-arms and axle?? If your 1/2 serious about riding hard or doing any kinda mx, I suggest doing chassis mods. All the power in the world won't do you shit if you can put it to good use. Mike
  12. A good start would be waiting 2 years untill your "legal" to ride the 'shee.... that is if your planing to go to an actual "race" instead of some backyard derby. Other than that you need a big checkbook, a couple magazines and a set of brass balls. Mike
  13. Do you still have the arms??? Mike
  14. How much you want for it..... remote or piggy back rezzy??.... what kinda condition etc.... Mike
  15. "The Rod" Just about hit the nail on the head, but I'll throw my .02 in here just for the hell of it. I firmly believe that for 4 persons that buy works 1 buys a set of elkas, axis, pep, ohlins etc... The main reason for that is that is well....... the shit ain't cheap. Also the majority of quad riders are "rec. riders" in there case the works shocks will make them more than happy. But when it comes time to get down to business on an mx track the higher end shocks will go harder and longer that the works will. I for one can tell a big difference in shocks that have rezzies compared to ones that don't. Then again, I'm not excactly a rec. rider. To sum it up, if you spend 60%or more of your time just cruising around in trails, roads, open fields etc.. then a set of dual-rate works w/ piggy backs will do you more than good. On the other hand if you want to get nasty with it on an mx track or freestyle jumps spend the extra penny and get yourself some high-end shocks. Mike

I've have tried just about every "sport" that there is to try from fishing to polo and I can say that w/out a doubt that 10 HARD laps around a rough mx track will gut check you like no other sport can do.... no even double over time in football. If your serious about mx, get you a GOOD PAYING job and start flipping magazine pages and screening ebay. Get some pipes and a filter (that's it for the motor.....trust me), then grab you some nice shocks, axle, 2+1 a-arms, -2 swingarm, some new rubber, 15t sprocket, nerfs, #plates and a pair of brass balls. Mike
  17. SLOBERKNOCKERED!!!! Tore up from the floor up skunked tanked discombobulated(say that w/ a 12 pack in ya) drunker 'n cooter brown phew(the sound one makes while stumbling) lit up(you can go either way w/ this one) Some of those might have already been listed but I don't care b/c...... well, I just don't. Mike
  18. WOW!!! , and I thought I was in to audio stuff. OH ya, take duece's advice about U2.....terrible noise pollution. MIke
  19. You BURN...... BURN IN HELL!!! My all time favorite: "I want to die just like my grandpa did.....peacefull and in his sleep..... not like 3 people screeming in the back seat. Mike
  20. Yeah. Imagine if they came up on a double, and it shit out on them about 2/3 the way up. Happened to me b4... but I just smooth ran outa gas . Mike
  21. I'm looking to buy an afermarket axle, a-arms and rear shock seperater or all at the same time if the price is right. Anybody selling or willing to trade for the stock parts?? Mike
  22. Whuts banchee???? Mike
  23. I sent you a pm w/ my offer on the a-arms....let me know. BTW: how long have you had these and will my stock brake lines work?? Mike
  24. I would still run 108 octane w/ 180psi. I "think" the going rate is between 4-6.50$ a gallon for race fuel. Mike
  25. I'm tired of my got damd civic (aka "beer can") so I'm gonna sell it and dip off into a truck. I know at least 85% of the peeps on here have a pickup of some sort so I would like to hear some opinions. I would like to have a tacoma but I don't want to spend over 7500$ b/c I want to pay it off by the time I got to tech school in september. I don't care if it's ford/chevy, but I need a 4wd. For some reason lifted z71's just give me a chubby... anybody have a z71 in here?? What motor do you have in it?? What about the older moldel ford 4x4's... how's the power in them?? I won't be pulling over 10,000lbs. Sorry about the book. Mike
