wut kind off tranny oil need help fast!

I'm with him on that answer,...good comment Led -
It all seemed to start after I installed a better set of stock manifolds that I bought off a member. I made sure that there wasnt any foreign particles in the manifolds. As I installed the manifolds I had to tilt my carbs alittle to slide the manifolds in place. After installing the manifolds I hand tightened the manifold bolts. There was a few times I had to reach down between the carbs and hand tighten the inside bolts to the intake manifold. I tried not to touch the screws on the back of my diconnected tors unit for the fear of knocking the slides out of sync. I havent done any jet work since my pipes were installed a year ago and the Shee seemed fine before I installed the used manifolds. My Shee sounds like it Sputters more than Bogs . Its weird,...I can take off and it will pick up speed sputtering, but it wont die out when it Idles at a stop with the clutch pulled in or in nuetral. At first I though I might have got something from my tank sucked into my jets, but I always try to keep my tank cleaned out every so often. My tors is diconnected and I have a tors removal kit set back for later installation. If this turns out to be manifolds are cracked I guess I'll have to look around for another good set. I checked my rubber boots that attach the airbox to the carb and seen no cracks. After riding around for a little bit I examined my fuel line and seen a few bubbles in the lines. Is this normal?

I run the Wirtz easy pull clutch lever and perch and it took alot of work out of clutch pull.

Has everyone heard of the BOSS Intake setup for the Banshee? Its said to have a built in equilizer tube and you dont have to use a balance tube or boost bottle.

I run Bel-ray gear saver too....good stuff. -
I pulled my shee out of the shed and let it warm a few up for a ride after installing better stock manifolds than what I had. My Banshee ran great till it got warmed up, then it would start cutting out. Shee does this as I wind her in 1st and in 2nd. I did have to tilt my carbs alittle to slide the manifolds in place. I looked at the manifolds and there is alittle weather cracking around the area above the intake bolts. This might be the problem, but could there be other things I need to check?

Hey Josh...I won a set of performance Dual Rate works shocks on ebay and they come with nice black shock covers for the front. If your interested in them pm me and we can work something out. I run a checkered set on my Shee and dont need these.

I have for sale a Chrome Lite Dg bumper for a Yamaha Banshee. One arm that bolts to the frame is slightly bent where it barely misses bolting to the frame. There are no major dents or scars...chrome is all good. $ 55.00

Does the company ship you any flamed stator covers?

Your doing right..Keep working and keep your eyes open for better jobs. I've been through that part of it and it felt like I was gonna go crazy but it all worked out so far to better things. My present job is welding for a place called Tracker Marine. Its a Boat assembly plant. It has its up and downs from day to day but it pays good for the area I live in..atleast better than most little welding shops around here. So far welding is me and nothing has beat it yet. I'll stick with it till I see something that is more secure. We usually get laid off in the summer for around 2 weeks for inventory control and maintance. I use that for alittle time away. Sometimes its going on short trip and sometimes its watching my kids and cleaning House (LOL). Its all good.. even when raising them to mind. LMSAO....I got to thinking back at most of my jobs I had growing up and remember doing dishes and busting tables, clipping fence rows with hand clippers while on my knees while the person I worked for rode his tractor around, Cutting chickens for Master Wangs chinese place two days a week for $98.00 dollars in front of Hot girls that worked there. At all those momments I thought that I was getting shafted and I would never get a job where I could somewhat feel better about myself. As I think back right now I realize that I learned patience, ....something I didnt have too much of when I started working for the first time. I felt that all I was good for was chicken cutting and washing dishes and waiting on others. I always keep my eye open for advancements now. I have patience that I gained through all those jobs and my patience today supports my Family to the best I can do. Sometimes my patience is tested, but I know that when it comes down to what really matters I know that my attitude is right on track and I'll accomplish that job before me no matter how hard or how tough it gets. The awards may not come in riches, but you may see it in the faces of people you help on your job or the boss that hires you or that your family is alive today cause of your dedication. In todays world people think that if you do what your told on a job its butt kissing. They are wrong!! Its making a living and watching your kids grow up healty and safe from a starving world. You will go far and yes some people get better paying jobs than others and make tons of cash, but it doesnt mean they are better than you, they just got a lucky shot. You sometimes have to over look that situations like that to keep your thoughts straight. I dont live with a bank account all the time, and there are times it gets tough to hold on, but I look back at all I been through and patience and Faith gets me through. My Banshee in my avatar is from long hours of patience and all I gained since I was 13,....I'm 37 now. Your gonna do ok and even though it gets degrading at time hang in there...Your gaining alot more than you know.

Hey Pyro..I washed dishes too for a first job and bust tables. Just do a great job and they will be a good reference for you in the future when other places want to know how you work and follow instructions. Stay with it no matter how frustrating it gets at times. Good Job!!
-
On my job I was able to get my foot in the door..... work the hours they wanted me to do, and before long they were offering me to go to welding school and I did. I did it for myself and my family I have now. Your first job may not be the one you want for life, but its a step in the right direction and can lead to better jobs later on. Its not butt kissing......Its making a living.

Hey Chase....I did alot of reading and yip...I missed some posts that came after your first one on the Day Care. Man,...I'm sorry for slagging you like that. I agree with you on how most Banshee engineers that were here seemed to have gone elsewhere. Its people like you and Blue Duece, Screamin Banshee, Banchetta, dlnoss..etc that I learned from since I joined. I would watch for your comments on certain posts that you were helping people in. Heck it was last spring when all of you helped with instructions on how to put my coolhead on by myself instead taking it to a stealership and how to set my carbs in sync. If I can make the next coalfest and meet you all.....Beers on me...I owe you. I Gotta See your Shee run....stay safe , man! Still Banshee Brothers?

315lbs.....a new world record...lol

Reas...I wasnt bashing him. Yes....I did say he was acting like a baby when he started saying insulting stuff aimed at me. If you read back at all that was said you will find out I was called names and accused of no knowledge at all and if he was someone asking questions he sure wouldn't ask a stupid person as myself. Point is ...If he doesnt like the persons question he should just ignore it and and go on to another topic that he finds interesting. Thats what I've been trying to get across to him. About knowledge about banshees...I never said he didnt know anything and where that came from you got me. Ive watched his knowledge posts for over a 1 year or more and there isnt any reason I should question his advice on Banshees. I'm sure he is a great guy....I watched him on the coalfest and his bike rocks! My Shee couldnt do what his did. I left him a post a day or so ago and let him know that I'll put all this behind me ....he wins. Reas ,..I saw your video too...I would have loved to been there to watch all that dragging. How long does coalfest last when it comes around? peace.
-
Really....What Happened?
-
Chase,..listen......Sorry man, I'm not trying to turn you aginst me and No, I not afraid to meet you and talk this out like you mentioned in your last post, but who has the time to travel between working and watching kids. If you have kids you should know how time is and how limited it gets ,...even for riding. I havn't been a member as long as you so I'll just let all of this go behind me......anyway! ...I saw your video at coalfest!....I've never been there, but it look really cool. Can I ask where coalfest is or should I already know? LOL

Thanks alot for the info everyone! I'm gonna check all these places out.

Here is some pictures of the shocks. They are still on my Shee to let you know what they look like. They are great shocks and haven't had any trouble at all out of them. Eversince I bought my shee from the previous owner, I ran shockwears over them Paypal is just fine. I'll get them ready for you. Thanks, David Carter

Ive seen alot of clutch kits out there like EBC dirt racer and Barrnet Dirt Digger, and drag clutches. I run a stock clutch right now doing normal riding and ripping around and some drag. I'm gonna make a purchase on a aftermarket setup soon. What would your choice be?

I run my tether on the left side of my billet handle bar clamp...(about couple inches or so). My hands are on the bars most of the time and the cord isnt much of a bother.
