I was just reading what that magazine said about the banshee sucking in the sand. Look at the picture real careful....If someone put that new plastic on me ..i'd run like crap. My shee is a thrill in the sand. There are some great riders and knowledgeable people here on the HQ that could take the SHEE and run it through the test in the sand aginst these other so called Dune Kings and spank them in all terrain. I think its just another reason for the media to rid the banshee from the thoughts of peoples minds. They want us all to start living the so called 4 stroke age. I respect the YFZ450's power, but It feels like your halfway over the bars, ...my banshee sits stable and your not all over your arms. This plastic they come out with really takes the cake. In my area,...running a plastic like that gets you beat up. I know...some people like it, but thats them. No matter what they say or do on these tests....Banshee are not for beginners and the power can either thrill you or kill you. No quad out there has the shear rip like the finely tuned shee.

Does anyone have a nice set of 89 rear hubs they want to part with? I have a set of rear aluminum wheels that have a larger bolt pattern than my 97.

I went down the 23 of Sept. with a group and it was AWESOME!!! I agree about drop offs. When we got there I had alot of riding to makeup since late spring. I spent the summer working alot and watching our kids and not being able to cut out and ride really built up. We went through the gate area and started towards the flats and vered right to go to the rolling dune area. I was so excited I blew past the new drag stip area and didnt even notice it. As we ripped across the rolling dune area I couldnt help but slide my baby sideways and do a 360 and throw some roost over the tops. The sand at that time was soft and peaked. Buttercup was peaked and straight up. I tackled it with my wife on the back and she loved it. We cooked up alot of spoonbill, brauts, and etc. Some people next to us made a apple crip in a big skillet over a fire and came over to our camp to visit. I rode so freakin hard those three days I blew my thumb and arm out .....LOL. I read in the waynoka news that a guy got lost from his riding group and went off the top of buttercup and fell 50ft. He died at the entrance before the airvac got there. It pays to watch out for each other.

...I want to apologize for the pictures of this Boss Intake not coming out right and delaying me sending them to all the ones who requested pictures. I spent the last 4 days trying to set these pictures up in every way I could think of and my computer just sits there saying its sending and no one is receiving anything. The polished intake is just like the ones sold on ebay and the sellers pictures are good detail, only difference is he has a buy it now price of $150.00 for stock and 34mm carbs. sorry again for the inconveinence I have caused and will you all forgive a fallen banshee brother...Lowrider, Brad, SHMECK45 and bws00..sorry guys. I know you were wanting to see this intake.

I would go with Razor2 or Holeshots HD. They both have Narly tred. I like the flat look of the Bandit fronts though. Sure would be cool to see the razors or the Holeshot HD with that look.

My 97 shees motor is stock except for what you see in my signature for add ons . I'm looking to building my motor for reliability and performance. I do alot of track time with friends jumping, woods ripping, some dirt climbs and occasionally some drags and ((((DUNES IN WYNOKA, OK))) LOL. My motor has never been cracked open and I think Now is a good time as any to start thinking about a rebuild or so. I seen and heard alot of ideas on the HQ since I joined and I come to respect alot of people here. I found a kit and wanted to lay it out before all of you and see what your response would be. I'm wanting to set it up for an all around great ride and I know there will be sacrifices in both the MX and Drag side of my shee. Here is a kit I found ,...tell me your opinions.
